Gold, Silver or Bronze?

It's either gold or silver, I can't recall and I don't know how to tell.

How can I tell for sure if it's gold or silver?

There's no stamp on any of the edges?

If memory serves, we were not "stamping" the playfields back then.....Not really sure if there was a grading system in place either ( Gold, Silver, Bronze ) back then.....I really don't remember which playfield we started the Grading System with....but Pin•Bot may have been when it was simply Firsts and Factory Seconds.......

That's what I was thinking, thanks Stu.

Thank you guys, especially Stu. Appreciate the info.

Good price on this, nice to know not everybody needs to turn around and try to flip them at a profit (WW playfields)

I really don't know. The inserts do look nice from the pics. Sometimes there is some really obvious crackling.

I agree your price is fair. I just paid $500 for one at Expo, but it needs a paint touch up and clear. Can't wait to get going on this swap!

#17 8 years ago

Thanks guys. Just hoping to get (most of) my money back and get a nice playfield in a Pinbot that will someone will love.

#18 8 years ago

That's a very fair price for a playfield that's no longer available. You should get your $600.

Bump. Still waiting for someone to make a beautiful Pinbot out of this.

#20 8 years ago

Can someone explain the difference between gold, silver, and bronze? Is this for all repro playfields or just pinbot? I had no idea there was any sort of grading system. Thanks!

Christmas bump!

Bump!

It's getting tired of the single life...the playfield wants to marry a nice cabinet and have lots of lights, a few pop bumpers, and a few drop targets.
