Quoted from seshpilot:Agreed with the others: AMAZING. Before this sells, you MUST tell us HOW exactly you did this!!! Please!
I can tell you, first you need to have a career history as a A&P licensed Aircraft Avionics Mechanic with an extensive military and commercial aviation maintenance background. Then spend your hobby life repairing and restoring EM machines. 10k hours or so?
Totally agree.. amazing project, and so well polished. Even the wiring looks original.
Trying to dream about a project like this, I'd imagine one of the Sys1 EM transition units would be a good starting point. They all have score motor setups for 500, 3k, 5k etc. Lots of relay work and engineering thinking about the rules. Clearly, going from 4p to 1p is necessary to avoid memory complexity.
I dream of the day when I could hope to tackle something like this.
