As is always the case, the game is worth what someone is willing to pay for it and the higher you go above normal, the smaller the available group of buyers will be. If you're cool with that and are hoping to find the one guy that wants to spend $8k on it, good for you. In the meantime, because you're so far above what normal is for this title, you might have to put up with those who have a different opinion regarding its value.
Agreed, and the value of owning the pin for a period of time and playing is completely disregarded. Have an accessible pin that you can play free games in your pjs for a year or 2; surely there is utility in that which offsets not getting what you put in.
