Up for sale, Capcom's Pinball Magic. Game has been in my collection for quite a few years. Was recently shopped... playfield topside stripped, buffed and waxed. Has new balls, new rubber, burned out bulbs replaced, and generally cleaned up, but not a total restoration. Also replaced both slingshots with completely new assemblies.

Game is cosmetically better than most I've seen - especially the cabinet. Only slight fade, and overall very nice. There is one touch-up spot on the left side, but it's hardly noticeable. Playfield is also nice, with original Mylar. There is a small wear spot on the right side of the pop-bumper, and a little wear around the scoops - but very little. Comes with a set of Cliffy protectors (not installed). Translite is very good! All boards are good, and flippers are strong.

I chose not to install LEDs in this game, because there are "waterfall" lighting effects in the lighting program, and I just don't think LEDs would do justice to the programmed effects. Sound and lights work great, and all toys work as they should with one exception - the floating ball needs some TLC. It works fine about half of the time, but sometimes the switch doesn't trigger and that leads to a ball search. It also stutters a little in the up and down movement of the floating ball. I haven't been able to figure out exactly why it's having an issue, but I think it just needs some tweaking. Price reflects this issue, but the fact that it works half of the time means it probably isn't too serious, but I don't have time or patience to sort it out. Also comes with a few extra parts that I picked up back when Illinois Pinball bought out Capcom and was selling off parts.

If you're not familiar with the architecture of Capcom pinball, I can tell you that this game was way ahead of its time in a lot of ways. It's on-board diagnostics are far better than anything Bally, Williams, or Stern were doing in the '90s. I'd prefer local pick-up, but will consider shipping if buyer makes all arrangements and assumes complete liability for any shipping damage. I don't have the materials to prepare it for shipping, so your shipper would need to do that.
