Item description

Lots of stuff done to it to bring it up to a nice machine:

New drop targets all around
New pop bumper caps, pops function strong and 100% but one of the pop bumper bodies is cracked
Alltek MPU
Siegecraft LED boards (no flicker LEDs)
Lamp board worked through with bad SCRs replaced, header pins reflowed, Bad lamp sockets replaced, ALL lamps work!
Comet 2SMD LEDs throughout in warm white
Cleaned and resleeved all mechs
Rebuilt all 4 flippers
New Pinitech LED displays (low voltage)
New rectifier board
Titan flipper rubbers, rubber rings are still good throughout
New legs and levelers
All new flipper bats
New flipper buttons and switches
New glass
Probably some other things that I'm forgetting

Has typical cabinet fade, but no gouges or missing chunks of wood
Backglass has 2 small nicks in the art, completely presentable and hardly noticeable
Plastics are all there and very nice (I replaced a cracked one, that i would include)
100% plug and play

Has some wear on the playfield, but presents well. Has typical cupping inserts. One issue that I've been meaning to look at is that the first drop target can be a bit finicky, in that it might stick up too far and not drop, or that it might drop with playfield vibrations. I haven't looked into it much.

I am asking for $1900 obo for it.

Oh c'mon! She'll forget about it after she plays a few games

Can I just personally thank you for pricing a game sensibly in this crazy era of pinflation. It's nice to know there are still great pins at great prices out there. Thank you.

Quy does a great job on games. Any game he has gone through will be rock solid!

I have loaned him many games which he has brought back to life and then I put out on route. They have held up extremely well and he knows what he is doing.

I played this Paragon recently and it plays very nice!

Thanks Hilton! I always play the games I've worked on once their on route to make sure they're holding up. Glad to hear all is well with them

Not in the slightest. This is a beautiful pin for a good price. What do you see that I'm missing?

PF wear is significant for the listing price of $1,900, but the op description is detailed/complete and the pin is listed "OBO".

I own a HUO Paragon (a rare beast) and think it's one of the best games of all-time. Nevertheless, 9,120 units were manufactured, which helps keep prices on the low side for this title.

Based on other comments (Whysnow), seems like this game plays great, which helps justify the price as well. Plenty of great playing games that aren't "beauty queens"

GLWTS.

Significant playfield wear on a Paragon priced at $1900. In that price range for a game of this era, cosmetics are everything.

I dont think that's significant wear for a Paragon. The pf artwork overall is very nice. I would get a pf protector for it. Seen much worse on alot of paragons.

I bought mine for the artwork alone. Great playing game on top of that. Glws.

Agreed, I would not call that "significant" wear. I think it looks pretty good, compared to lots of other Paragons out there.
GLWS

Full disclosure, I have a Paragon in similar condition, and I like it!

#18 5 years ago

I made sure to zoom in on that area for full disclosure. It may seem "worse" than it is, especially if looking on a monitor that makes it much larger. It's definitely not as bad as some other games I've seen.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Snow day bump!

Such an awesome game and a great seller. Price seems fair to me compared to what some in this top ten 80's category are going for. I wish I paid this much for Fathom and Embryon. lol GLWTS!

#20 5 years ago

Great looking game. Cabinet looks clean for a game from this era.

I definitely miss mine. GLWS
