Price is firm
I have an AC\DC Pro for sale or for trade. It has a few issues (noted below) but overall it plays great and the cabinet/playfield are in excellent shape. I'm looking to part with the machine as-is and the price is firm at $3,800, no haggling, thanks.
I am located in Fairfax, VA (Northern part of Virginia). You would need to come get the game as I have no way to transport it. Cash only if you decide to buy outright or do a trade + cash deal. Not interested in shipping, although I may open up to the option eventually if you arrange and pay for it via a respectable carrier.
I am also interested in a trade for a cheaper Sega or an early modern Stern plus cash on your end kind of deal. No Bally, Williams, Data East or Gottlieb. DMDs only, no old Solid States.
Game has LEDs for GI and inserts. Speaker LED panel as well.
Here are the issues with the game:
- Coin door has seen more than a couple of boots into it and so it either needs to be replaced, or taken off and beaten back into place. The mechs will not currently fit as a result of the door being bent. Everything else on it works as-is.
- Right orbit control gate needs to be replaced (both coil lugs snapped off, coil will need to be replaced). What this means is when you shoot the left orbit, it always feeds the pop bumpers.
- From the factory the lightning bolt flashers came mounted directly to plastics with zero support. Naturally, all three have broken off. I have remounted the flashers snug with the lightning bolt plastics themselves, so they are good (I also replaced the original bolts with the updated metal backed/reinforced versions). If you are stickler for perfect plastics, you will need to buy a replacement plastics set fix the broken ones at the edges of the ramps.
- The return lane lamp socket closest to the left flipper broke. I just leave the bulb out of it and in order to make the lighting match have taken the bulb out of the socket closest to the right flipper.
Those issues aside it plays great. Flippers and cannon are strong, all switches work. Top side of playfield is clean and the cabinet decals are in good shape as well with no wear that I can tell.
Here's a video of the game in action from about a month ago:
