Quoted from Halfwasted:Man American Pinball is in trouble if a HUO only game for theirs can't sell at this price.
Hot wheels better blow the doors off.
Agreed...Owned a Houdini and basically had to discount in order to generate any serious interest. Probably stupid on my part, but I was impatient and wanted to move on. I'm a little gun-shy about investing in another American Pinball game due to the fact it would probably be a rental and would need to get into one at a comfortable price. I took a huge bath and while I'm not about profit in this hobby I'd like to at least break even...Hard to do if you buy nib....Especially Houdini or Octoberfest. Having said that. I played Octoberfest and really enjoyed it. Lots of features and cool shots. Not sure why people undervalue so much. It's not perfect and does have some flaws, but still a fun game.

I feel it was the no pressure selling technique and the free rust proofing and undercoating that helped close the deal.

For sure...I will miss this thread too. Hey Bowtech...going to be moving back to Lambertville soon (Building a place) and looking to connect with some pinheads in the area. When I left it was pretty dead. Looks like it's a little better now.
