For sale: North Star

Added: August 21st, 2018
Condition: Used - shows wear but 100% working and clean

Item description

I just put this on EBAY FOR A NO RESERVE AUCTION!!

GOTTLIEB 1964 NORTH STAR

eBay item number: [phone number removed] FIND IT HERE!!

This Pinball machine was in storage inside a home since the 80s. It plays great, the right flipper is kinda weak and sticks sometimes. The right side is painted black and has people's names and such pressed into it. The letters BJ is scratched into the center left side. Legs have some surface rust on them mostly on the back side. Coin door has some surface rust and wear and scratches. Playing area is really nice but there is a small spot that the flipper wore some paint away. It plays good and keeps score good too. The key for the coin door looks original. The key and lock for the back panel is new. Please look at pictures and ask questions. ONLY 2525 of these were ever made! Unit needs restored but can be played as is too!!
I have videos and more pictures!! JUST ASK!
Back glass paint is great! Playing field is really nice condition too!
This game was well taken care of!!
From the same place I have a jukebox and a Centipede Atari coin op arcade game. Here on Ebay!
Email me and I can send you a video of the game and one of it being played and more pictures too.
Pick up only but I will make a crate and load it onto your truck for a fee and a design on how you want it crated will be needed!

That made me laugh out loud in a surgery room...thanks!

I like how the description makes everything a positive.

"Truck for sale. No tires and rims, so you can install ANYTHING you want! Just imagine!
Radio sounds awesome. Tape deck not working and but has a rare 'White Lion' cassette stuck in it. ROAR."

So $99 at auction or $2,500 here, hmmmmmmmm

Given the price, I was excited to open this and see what a fully restored Nortstar looks like. Bit disappointed.

Everyone tryin' to be imamaculate.

Too bad the one side is painted. It's got good bones otherwise, and it's a heck of a good game play-wise.
Nowhere near $2500 worth, but it's not a bad piece.
