Someone finally comes around with a reasonably priced WPC project, and you give him shit for it?

This place is truly awful sometimes.

Can't really assess that without pictures.

"DERRR $800 TOPS DeRRR derrr lol hahaha"

You compulsive price policers are out of fucking control. What's wrong with you people?

Maybe I'm giving you guys too much credit, but surely you have more to offer us?

You price police compulsively, and without joy.

It's sociopathic!

I saved a daddy long legs from utter death in my running shower this morning.

CLEARLY I have empathy.

A pathological liar as well?

I would like to see proof of your next insect rescue.

You've been what they call "owned" Levi.

NEXT!!

#17 3 months ago

I'd say it's a good price but anytime I say that I get accused of price pumping.

Oh well atleast the OP is getting lots of free bumps.

It's a running joke her and I have about saving insects.

She'll squash anything and it drives her nuts when I save them (just to piss her off)

Going by the pic you saved as her default... I'd avoid pissing her off. I'd be carrying a can of Raid in a holster 24-7 if I were you!

It took me 4 months to get $2300 for a No Fear in excellent condition a couple of years ago. If a forklift damaged No Fear project gets $1850, the market isn't a soft as I thought.

Prices on this are pretty much the same. But with or without pictures it’s to much. Add the parts up that it will need.

Pretty much what I figured.

You "saved" the insect not because of empathy, but to annoy your girlfriend. Textbook unhealthy behavior.

Sociopath owned!

there is no way a project no fear sells for 1850.

Just remember:

Getting lucky > lucky spiders

GLWS and have a great day!

#27 3 months ago

I sold a mint No Fear for 2600 with fade on the left 6months ago. Hard to believe that with head damage, damaged ramp, dented side rails & playfield damage that its going to fetch 1,850. I know it's a project but IMO that's too much project for the $$ but curious to see pics.

Both spiders and insects are invertebrates, but spiders are not insects. Insects have a head, thorax and abdomen, and the thorax has three pairs of legs. ... Animals that share these characteristics include ticks, mites, scorpions and spiders. The group is called the Arachnida."

#32 3 months ago

We see this so many times, a FS ad with no pictures, can't one just wait for the pictures THEN list the item?
I have yet to understand this marketing tactic.

What else is Blackbeard hiding?

A lot of times, if the price is good, you never make it to the process of taking pics and posting them. I have sold quite a few machines without ever getting to the picture taking process.

I have bought a couple of pins from this seller without issue and would do so again. He is quite honest and forthright with his descriptions.

Hmmmm, a pirate(?) who whines about about prices and can't even kill a little spider or Levi's level-headed and legit point about not crapping on other's listings... easy call here.

Lol I was reading thru this wondering if someone would point this out.. it was starting to get to me, glad you did

BUT you left out the most important difference That should be noted, insects are mostly friendly and awesome and should be saved (minus pest ones that damage crops, house plants, etc). Spiders on the other hand, MUST DIE!!!! Lol

Joking aside spiders are kinda cool too as long as they stay the hell away from me

I put this up in a different topic but seeing as how this topic is off the rails and onto spiders, I'll repost.
A common garden spider from the orb weaver family, harmless but very intimidating!
This one still resides beside my front door.

I thought it was quite timely and in an appropriate location for yesterday, thus I left her alone.
One of the kittens has gone missing though.

We have banana spiders here in Myrtle Beach and they are 100% harmless. They are perfect for gardens because they eat all of the nasty ass bugs.

I’m an amateur entomologist as well as a pinball enthusiast, so this thread has really saved me a lot of time.

Error 77 sounds like it would hurt a lot

#50 3 months ago

I've never seen a "broken glass in orifice" warning. That's a new one!

Game looks way better than I expected. Looks like the price is just about right.

Not sure where the seller came up with the "dumped off forklift" theory. I would have left that personal speculation out of the ad if it were me. Just say "head/rails show damage from head dropping on to playfield glass" and leave it at that.

To use an old Pinside price police thread cliche "I'd love to see all these nice working $2,000 No Fears you guys are talking about! I'll buy 2!"
