Up for sale is my No Fear. This is the second time I am selling it. It was gone for about a year and then I had the opportunity to buy it back. Here is my ad from 2 years ago https://pinside.com/pinball/market/classifieds/archive/37403
The playfield looks great, the skull works, the drop target is smooth, the jump ramp works.
Basically, it plays great and should work for years. Over the time, I have owned it, I fixed most the common WPC resetting issues. All the fixes have been play tested for years. The game is rock solid.
This is not the prettiest No Fear. My game room is ugly, I'm ugly, and some of my games are a little ugly. This game is very faded; I believe I referred to it as the LE yellow version before.
The flippers don't match. When I bought the game they didn't match, so when I did a rebuild I bought new not matching flippers. I thought that was "X-treme" like the game... it cracked me up at the time.
The middle magnet is not hooked up. It was disconnected when I bought it and it plays well. I'm assuming the middle magnet is not good. The version 1 of the software caused the magnets to lock on. This also caused some distortion in the ramp. You can't see it, but it can be felt.
The bottom surface towards the front is a bit messed up. When I sold the game it was taken away in a pickup truck. The game was nicely wrapped, but a little water got on the chipboard bottom. None made it into the game or seems to have effected the plywood, but it had a bad effect of the surface of the chipboard. There are pictures below.
One last thing, the little mountain has a repair to keep it on. It's $34, but I decided to just patch it. Looks fine, but you can buy a new one if it bothers you.
Note! This is an archived ad. No longer for sale!
The seller ended this ad and indicated the game eventually sold for $ 1,750
