Many pinsiders are putting ordering off until the issue is sorted out, I certainly am. Once stock starts backing up, we'll hear something.

I didn't down vote you, but how you are choosing to talk about the problem in a sales thread, can be seen as passively trolling JJ/Gexexchange, vs several other was you could get an answer to your question. For example:

1. Search threads here or elsewhere.
2. Start a new thread with your concerns.
3. Try to reach out to STERN directly.
4. Call JJ directly.

Just a counterpoint, I'd be interested to know too, however, I think JJ is an awesome distributor, and has done nothing short to make sure myself and others have been satisfied with their purchases, no matter how big or small and issue, if any.

So if you are looking to buy, I just suggest not having to look any further. JJ is great to work with.

I did wonder if it might be interpreted that way, which is why I asked about the down votes. But this is a *public* for sale thread promoting a product that has known issues, so I think posing the question publicly is entirely legitimate, and certainly no troll. The other options have also been pursued, and the silence is deafening so far. Many are wondering about this, and at this point, I think it's disingenuous not to ask publicly. It's not meant to reflect on the worthiness of the distributor, as distributors are similar to the consumers in this case, being caught up in the circumstances through no fault of theirs.

As a large, reputable distributor, I think having some pressure which can be relayed to Stern is a good thing, and will only help get this addressed sooner, which will be beneficial to all. If at most this is a reminder for other pinsiders to talk about this privately when ordering, then that's good too.

I only buy my games from JJ. Service has been nothing short of exceptional.

If you're concerned about insert ghosting I suggest you wait until the reports of it occurring stop. Then buy. don't see how or why a distributor can or should have a policy on it outside of keep and eye on it and see if it gets worse to the point that your inserts are chipping and wearing causing playfield damage.

I for one have a game with ghosting on the inserts, but after the initial ghosting, it has not gotten any worse. That was over 1,000 plays ago.
