I had someone ask what's included so I opened to show what's in the box. Pics attached.

Technically the rug mech is $550 When Cointaker has it in stock. Not a bad deal.

#4 70 days ago

Yup Cointaker has then for $550 plus shipping

Good deal here.

Is this a part that fails though??

#5 70 days ago

I remember the one in sunshine laundry mat not working bc the carpet broke. I said if I ever get the game I'm buying an extra..... And I did!

Rug is bashed constantly - didn't want to chance it on such an expensive game.

Peace of mind for me.

Yup agree - that thing takes a beating for sure.

What failed on the rug on your local one?
What is the weak point?

The rug itself? Or the roller it is on?

#11 70 days ago

The rug is a sticker wrapped around a 3d printed core

The rug is not a sticker. It is a thick cloth material glued to the plastic roller.

Folks are asking what actually breaks. The rug can be replaced easily. Berry sells them. You can also protect it further damage by applying some mylar over the top. But what breaks? Is it part of the mechanism, the roller, what?

As the most mechanical assembly on the game and most used mech for game play and proprietary assembly I opted to have a back up for this myself. The Dude without a rug is well, a dud. Lol
