For sale: Nascar

Added: October 12th, 2018 Ended: November 8th, 2018
Condition: Functional - needs minor work

Item description

Selling a Stern Nascar game that basically all works but needs minor stuff like a switch or two adjustment, needs to be shopped since I only cleaned where I could reach, some light bulbs which I'm including. Backbox bulb needs replacing as does the backbox lock and lift channel for the translight. Playfield nice but a good shop job would make it even nicer. The test car has seen better days and will need to be replaced. Brand new Rottendog driver board installed and new batteries and holder mounted off the CPU board. Magnets work fine. Cabinet is nice as is the coin door, brand new shooter rod installed. No trades and price is firm and no shipping whatsoever, cash on the glass and take it home. Pictures now posted. Some other updates are; I have the playfield glass and lockdown bar which are both in nice shape. Upper right cabinet does have some scratches but the rest of the cabinet still looks nice. DMD looks "faded" in the pictures but there are no issues with it. Ramps are not broken. There is one plastic that I question if it's broken or not and that is the one above the right side drop target bank. Also wonder if it's missing a cover over that left lock area? Any questions or more pics just let me know. Thanks, John.

Fun game for a super price. Seems like a chance for someone to cash in on a good deal with a little work.

Good deal for a good game.

Had some interest but still available bump.

Also have a Triple Action for sale at $375 if anyone's interested.

Can't believe this hasn't sold yet bump. What with prices on so many games out there with such crazy asking prices I figured this would move pretty quickly. I've had some interest but nothing solid. Same goes for the Triple Action.

John,

I think part of the problem is too many tire kickers here on Pinside & not enough serious customers. Part of the problem is too many new machines coming out so too much older stuff up for sale. And lastly part of the problem is who the heck knows?

I have had several machines listed here that didn't sell for weeks. Took them to the York Show this past weekend and sold most of them to dealers because "my prices were so good". One guy was originally buying one machine and ended up taking 3 on Thursday afternoon (during set up) "because he couldn't pass up a great deal" yet all these machines had been for sale on Pinside in the past and didn't sell.

Prices & the market seem to be all over the place lately? All I know is I am glad we are down to our last handful of machines for sale and most of those will be headed to Allentown in the Spring.

It will sell. Heck, if you were close to me I’d have already come looked at it and probably bought it. I like to rotate around through the lower priced games and I haven’t owned NASCAR yet.

For sure. I played it for the first time 2 years ago at the Cleveland pinball show and loved it. Super fun, good flow, and great bang for the buck for sure. Multiple multiballs, 2 wizard modes that are challenging to get to (and you can do both at once), spinners, drop targets, a bash toy that moves up for a scoop, lots of modes. Can't lose for 2K, I paid about 2,500 for mine with 0 regret.

Come during party day and you'll get to play all the pins, meet a bunch of great pinheads and take your Nascar game home at the end of the night. What could be better then that?
