Mousin' Around that I've owned for over 20 years. Everything works as it should and plays 100%. Fun, family-friendly theme with a 3 ball multi-ball.

About 3 years ago I had it fully shopped over to all LED, added side art blades, new insert decals, cheesy flippers, chrome bumper cap decals. The mylar was removed and the playfield had some minor touch ups. Cabinet has some typical fading that has also been touched up.

If I didn't need room I wouldn't be selling it. I'm sure many of you can relate to this problem.

Sorry no shipping. I want the buyer to see it in person and play it before purchasing.

Thanks!

Good price.

Are there touchups on the cab and new decals applied to some pf inserts?

#3 2 years ago

I've been looking for this game for a while. We had one and sold it many years ago. I've always missed that game. If you decide shipping it is OK, I'm your buyer. I msged you.

I didn't know that was even a thing? They make insert decals?!
It does look like insert decals. The H and the highest E weren't applied perfectly.

There are more too.

And it looks like the reds have been filled on on the cab. If so seller should list that stuff. Buyer would want to know. Not a deal breaker but should be noted i think.

Why? There's a bunch of pictures, this is a lower-priced game, and he's specifically not shipping because he "wants the buyer to see it in person." It's not his responsibility to go over the game with a fine tooth and point out every little thing somebody might have a problem with. Especially with so many helpful folks here eager to do that for him.

You guys lay it on a little thick sometimes. You guys have pointed out absolutely nothing that disqualifies his claim that this is a "nice Mousin Around." Game is 30 years old and he's not claiming it's museum quality. Give him a break.

Some collectors look at other things other than whether or not it plays. They look at aesthetics. You should know this by now. I’d be PISSED if I drove 3 hours to discover a markered cabinet and misaligned inserts.

Price isn’t horrible but these are clearly things that should be disclosed instead of just hoping a buyer spots them in pics.

Fair enough - I, personally, wouldn’t give a shit. At this price, I’d know better than to expect “collector quality,” and the game looks like it presents very nicely to me. It’s all subjective.

The point I’m making is the pics are good enough for someone who is picky like you to know beforehand what you are doing to find, as this thread makes abundantly clear. I don’t see why it’s up to the seller to try to talk people out of buying his machine.

Especially these days, We should be encouraging more people to list games at realistic prices, rather than beating them senseless with price police batons. If that were my thing, I’d save it for $4500 Big Guns and the like, rather than going after the guy posting a $3500 mousin around without “firm” attached and with plenty of good pictures.

Time for road trip?

NY is too far for me. The most I've ever traveled for a game pickup was 14 hours one way and I will never do that again. Especially, with today's fuel prices.

I hear ya, we visit the in-laws in Florida so I try to pick up stuff along the way.
