Monte Carlo (Premier / Gottlieb 1987) Pinball Machine
Theme: Gambling / Casino / Roulette / Poker
A+ game that has a gambling theme (in fact it's even located in one of Europe's finest casino sites) is Gottlieb's 1987 "Monte Carlo"! Pure roulette beauty... in a pinball machine! Monte Carlo is the best target games of its era and possibly to date! It is fast and furious! This game “IS NOT” trying to be something it isn’t! IT’S A TARGET GAME!!! Bonus is, it has TWO ramps, THREE ball multi-ball, captive/lock ball, Bonus $10,000,000 skill shot, extra ball, special, save ball and a moving, spinning roulette wheel! The WINNER topper is included with this game! Original owners manual also included!!
Gameplay:
Notable Features: Flippers (2), Pop bumpers (3), Slingshots (2), 3-bank drop targets (2), 2-bank drop targets (2), Roll-unders (2), Stand up targets (2), Captive ball spinner, (3) ball multi-ball, 10,000,000 points ramp shot. The playfield is awesome!! The best part is the spinning roulette wheel theme and art. The game has tons & tons of different shots to offer during play. Ramps, drop targets, thumper bumpers, ball-lock holes, & the roulette wheel below the main playfield are just a few examples. The game is good for beginners and you can set the rules tougher for the experts. Exciting and challenging gameplay and a 10,000,000 ramp, that will only light for a few seconds, after hitting the correct target. The goal is to beat out all of the other players, Now! With 3 balls, you can play half an hour, or 3 minutes! The rule set is simple to understand but yet can be extremely challenging. The multi-ball is so unbelievably fun. You always will keep finding yourself having the "one more game" feeling when you play it. The sounds are so much fun to listen to! The other cool thing is, the music changes each time you get a ball locked!! The topper flashes "WINNER" when you hit a jackpot, and it is mesmerizing! If you want to add an extremely fun, and addicting gambling themed machine to your collection, do not hesitate at this chance! Just a side note, The translite was photographed at the Gaslight Club in Chicago, Illinois. Alvin Gottlieb and Gil Pollock are standing in the background!
