Up for sale is my 2001 Stern Monopoly pinball machine. Game was shopped out less than 100 plays ago and it's playing really strong. I've listed below everything that was done to the game and any issues as well. Pretty much looking for cash unless you have a Taxi, Whirlwind or possibly Earthshaker. Game is located in a walkout basement for easy loading. Please let me know if you have any questions or want a picture of something specific. Thanks!
good stuff:
-Full playfield teardown and clean/polish
-All new white rubber
-All new clear star posts
-All new frosted cool white Comet led bulbs and added some additional lighting strips in some areas as well
-New cop drop target
-New foam pads for standup targets
-MPU professionally serviced and NVram installed by Rob Anthony of lockwhenlit.com
-New pinballs
-New florescent bulb and starter for the backbox
-Flippers rebuilt with new plunger and link coil stop and sleeve they are really strong!
-Added some cosmetic mods that I felt fit the theme but they are all removable if you feel differently
Not so good:
-cabinet shows some planking on one side that was hard to get a good picture of
-There's some playfield wear present near the pops on the left side which has since been covered with mylar
-There's some wear present at the scoop entrance and also where the cop target pops up
-The roof of the bank entrance has a dent and the bank door shows some wear
-Ramps have a couple of small cracks at the entrances but they're pretty minor and haven't gotten any worse in the five years i've owned it
-Cabinet has some wear at the flipper buttons that's been touched up
-There's one small plastic missing that goes near the upper pop bumpers that i've been unable to find a replacement for
-One of the playfield inserts that make up the monopoly board in the center is slightly raised and I was unable to level it to my satisfaction so its been touched up and covered in (removable) mylar. again it was tough to get a picture of it but its pretty minor.
here's a link to a quick video of the game being played:
