For sale: Meteor (Cincinnati) - Missing MPU

Added: February 16th, 2017 Ended: February 27th, 2017
Condition: Used, working and clean

Item description

Hi All -

Up for sale is a neat Meteor project. I recently picked this one up but in all honesty, I don't have the time or real interest to get this one up and running.

First of all, I bought it missing the MPU, lockdown bar, and playfield glass. The owner was a non-pinhead who was gifted this by a friend. Not sure of the history, but I think his "friend" was a pinball guy. This machine is super clean and it looks like someone was in the middle of a shopout with this. All plastics are pretty nice, and the playfield looks like a super nice original. I have re-rubbered the game, but could use some funds to put towards a minor restore job on a different machine of mine. The cabinet is very nice, including a very nice head. I powered it on at the sellers home and the displays worked. Underside of the game is super clean as well. Backglass is decent - probably a 7/10.

Game is located near Cincinnati, in a walkout garage. No stairs required. Ready to go.

The playfield on this guy is super nice and shiny. This will be one brutal game.

Still available. Would prefer local pickup!

Arrgh, I'd be interested in this, but I'm saving my pennies and workspace for Louisville Expo and whatever might turn up there first.

So I'll happily bump for a great seller: I picked up a NOS Firepower backglass from you last spring and it is gorgeous!

Timing is everything, isn't it? I'm glad you are enjoying the backglass - that one came right from Gordon Morison's personal collection. I wanted to keep that one as wall art, but I'm super glad it found a great home.

I also snapped some supplemental pictures for a pinsider who asked. Those are at the link below.
