Pictures? What is a dirty edition

I assume he means the edition with the Dirty Donny cab art and translight as opposed to the road case. But, what does it matter since obviously neither of us are buying.

#8 9 months ago

Then why post if it does not matter , maybe just to be a d$&@

#9 9 months ago

I guess new people do not know 5 editions of the game were released pro, le, roadcase premium monster premium and a dirty Donnie premium edition, yes that makes 5 , last one came with protective cliffs and a diff monster backglass. Upgraded drop targets and mag board and came out 2016

We know, its just that most people don't specify dirty donny edition, thats just the normal version. Thank you for the lesson though. Good luck with your sale lol

#11 9 months ago

Yes others specify there edition. It is how I bought this one. But if you say so

#12 9 months ago

It’s my dont buy it price. It is the best game ever made and hope to never get my asking price so take back the good luck, thanks

Thank you for the nice PM love letter. calling me a dim wit and the R-slur. Yes, I am clearly the karen here, as you put it, since you know, I'm the one REEEEEEing about a downvote and blocking people. You are much smarter than all of us at pinball. Good seller, buy with confidence

-32
#14 9 months ago

Well, only 6 downvotes...I had 13 on my recent Metallica FS ad People shouldn't be allowed to downvote just because they don't like the price (considering the absurdity of many prices in this market).

The downvotes aren’t just for the price.

Sounds like recent culture...

"I don't like your opinion so CANCEL YOU!!"

#18 9 months ago

The only thing different in the “Dirty Donny” premium is it came with hand painted toys….other than that it is EXACTLY the same as every other premium. Not a big deal.

If the OP doesn’t care if it sells then why place the add in the first place…obviously it’s to cash in on the inflated market.

I don’t care what people list a game for as that’s not my business or concern…but it is frustrating when people put details in adds that are misleading or almost false….lots of newbs easily taken advantage of not really knowing what they are buying…..the OP in this case is probably trying to exploit this….his listing says “new run”which most of us here know Metallica has not been run in a couple of years.

And as someone already mentioned the downvotes are not just about the price.

It’s actually nothing like that.

A downvote doesn’t cancel anything, nor suggest that anybody should be canceled.

How would you classify sending people unsolicited hate mail via PM. Worse than a downvote? Better? Does it show the urge to cancel someone?

So you guys are sort of in the middle.

It’s not about the price?? Lol ok So it is you don’t like me . Cool I don’t like you all either

The price police get so few victories these days, you’ve got to applaud them for causing this meltdown.

Reminds me of the Blackbeard glory days!

I am not sure why everyone gets upset over downvotes. I use them as a way of disagreeing with a post. And if I agree with something, I upvote it. Had someone PM me this week because I downvoted him. He was really upset that I would do such a thing. So I just blocked him. Do you guys really care about upvotes and downvotes that much? Seems like a silly thing to worry about.

Couldn’t agree more. I don’t get upset about downvotes.

I do get upset about the amount of douchebags in this hobby anymore (not you), and those who have transitioned to douchebaggery. And I’m sure some of them will be chiming in shortly.

Douchebaggery.

False.

Quoted from TheLaw:

That's one solution, I guess, but I like to give people an opportunity to ask questions about the games condition, history, whatever...so the forum thread can be useful for dialogue outside arguing about pricing.

People take things too personal. Downvotes to me are just a way for someone to show they disagree without having to say anything when there isn’t a need to. It’s petty to get upset over them. It’s OK to disagree.

#30 9 months ago

It's purposefully priced so that no one will actually buy it? I thought a Premium for $15K seemed ridiculous, but I guess that explanation eases my cognitive dissonance. Why bother?

#31 9 months ago

it must be very hard for you to understand Nevus and for this i am soooooo sorry man . truly

#32 9 months ago

He resurrected a 9 year old post by simply posting "bump" which earned him the downvote by me that send him spiraling into madness lol. Dude can't even post pics of his 15k Metallica, come on man.

#33 9 months ago

Post some pics of the custom painted toys...

#34 9 months ago

Why put up a for sale ad if you don’t want to sell it?

#35 9 months ago

The most desirable premiums were the last couple of runs which used the metal head and other evolutions that had come along in the years since the originals had been made.

Apparently Karen on Karen violence.

Sure, and it leaves you open for this. Again, super simple.

#37 9 months ago

I'd actually like to see some pics of this one. Was not aware of a fifth model and am interested.

I do think its odd though. If an owner doesn't want to sell a game, the best way to achieve that goal is not list it for sale.

Second best way would be to list it for $1M and eliminate all doubt.

Actually the only difference on the early run premium is the wooden back box…it also had the M on the speaker grill. The later run premiums had the metal back box and angled speaker panel like the LED pro’s. Nothing else was different.

Just because the OP is showing no remorse doesn't mean we need to seek & destroy him.

He's just responding to the posts by trying to fight fire with fire. It's sad but true.

I say ride the lightning of this FS thread OP...because nothing else matters.

Yes exactly. I like that it has the metal back box without that stupid hex key latch. I also like that the speakers and display are aimed towards the player. There's less reflection of the display on the play field glass and it simply looks better than the wood ones. Having four years less play on them is definitely a consideration. I still think the cabinet decals were better definition and color, but that might be just my imagination.

Can’t find any pics but the only difference is it came with toys painted by DD. It’s not a big deal. This link has the only details I can find.

I disagree…the wood head is just fine. The “M” on the speaker panel looks good. The artwork added to speaker panel looks dumb IMO…I have no issue with glare. My decals are bright and vibrant…my game has little to zero wear and I have played the hell out of it. It’s a game and it’s meant to be played. Either version is fine as it’s only cosmetic differences really.

The later runs also had a long one-piece fuel target on the left, instead of individual targets.

Personally, I greatly prefer the metal backbox style. I never did like the design of the older backbox, even when that was the only game in town. When I bought my 3rd Metallica, I specifically only considered ones with the metal backbox.

Listen, don’t tread on me Norm. This guy thinks he’s the master of puppets. I’m just looking for the small hours before dyers eve, and justice for all.

This guy is looking to be crowned king nothing…then it all crashes down. And you point your finger but there’s no one around.

If you want to be the harvester of sorrow, then you’ll end up the unforgiven. He’s either at the end of the line, or trapped under ice.

Fuel target has always been one piece…. I have an early run Premium and it’s one piece. You can look at pics of the LE’s which were built first and the Fuel target is one piece as well.

Interesting. I stand corrected then. My two older Pros had separate targets. My late run Premium has a mono-target. It seems that's not related to which run it's from.

#49 9 months ago

Pros got targets, premiums got bars.
