Item description

How many made? Approx 380-ish worldwide. How many left NIB? Untouched. Mint.

Pinsiders know who I am. I haven’t sold through Pinside in last few years. They know I’ve had no room for this unicorn; Selling to someone with two things: space for it and the gumption to possibly unbox and play her.

Cash is preferred, yeah, that’s a lot of scratch. Wire transfer, personal checks take 3-4 weeks to clear according to vids guide. Yikes. Don’t let the price scare you. Shoot me an offer. I’m only offended when you kick my dog, not my pricing.

Located in 03867.

—Rick.

How many left NIB? Untouched. Mint. Any?

So you’re selling one new in box and asking if there are any left new in box?
The correct answer is YES.

#7 3 months ago

If you read the other thread, you know where mine is.

The correct answer is YES.

Sure. Why not? How else to find out?

Wanna trade for a Fathom Mermaid?

#10 3 months ago

If you come up with two more of these I will trade you for a Supreme.

#11 3 months ago

Ya lots of NIB out there and way too much for this game good luck

#13 3 months ago

I’d love to see the FBI and DEA agents’ faces when you exchange a duffel bag of cash for a pinball machine. Priceless.

#14 3 months ago

I have one, and I'm definitely not saying that to throw off your count of how many exist in the world, even though it's a bunk premise to begin with because rarity is not directly correlated with value.

#15 3 months ago

People will try anything lol

Why would anyone buy this at this crazy price when CGC is making more? probably be a couple years at their pace....

Truth. However, value correlates directly to value. Best example of the most sought after title for decades.

If I had gotten a used MMr in 2019 AND had anticipated having less space available I wouldn’t be having this first world problem. But NNNNOOOO not me. I had to celebrate and get a Royal. Can’t unbox it for multiple reasons. Everyone’s losing their minds lately, let’s see where the ceiling is.

If it doesn’t sell ( and may not at this price) I’ll just continue to ogle the box unless my wife agrees to remove the shower or stove to set it up.

Exactly!
With the flop that was CC - it's a virtual guarantee now that more MM's are coming from CGC.

How do you know? It's never been opened, and no warranty will be honored now.
Could have cab separation - blown out board somewhere.
BBB, Williams Indy and JJP POTC were all more sought after and still are....and personally I'd much rather have a Metallica MOP LE.

I truly wish you luck - GLWYS.
You took the risk, probably paid in advance plus shipping in the first place.
It's your game - you have the right to ask what you will.
Problem is we are all going to have to deal with the IRS soon if ads like this keep happening, and that will ruin this hobby.

There’s a lot of guys who claim they never use their day job income to amass these collections of pins. So then obviously it’s buy cheap, fix, sell for profit, rinse and repeat.

How do guys with middle class jobs and “not using income” to support pinball habits explain their 50k, 100k, 150k pinball collections built on income from flipping for profit and all not yet taxed? It’s impossible to play this little cat and mouse game with the IRS with cars as you have titles and registration and insurance and all that. Funny now that these silly toys are work as much or more than most cars on the market road, does this ever get squashed?

Time will tell.

Meh.

But CGC swore on their mothers graves more mmr’s!

Maybe it’s just a box full of bricks or Doug and Ryan drew dicks on it before boxing.

IRS is coming.

All possibly true. Except IRS. That’s straight up fact for us all.

#26 3 months ago

With the disaster CGC has created with CCRLE's (not the game, but the fact they can't seem to make them) my guess is they make a lot more MMR's. They may not call it the Royal, but they will definitely sell the same game and maybe call it something different. For the first time CGC allowed non LE buyers to get the topper so they will definitely sell the entire Royal package with NIB MMR's. My guess is the game is probably worth half of what you're asking. Thats only because it will probably take CGC another year + to even start the MMR run.

#27 3 months ago

I would rather spend my money on a true William MM before any of the remakes they are just build too last 30 years plus and still going they will never build anything like that theses days it would just cost way too much too sell and they won't last that long that's for sure

Your guess based on guesses. 15k for a nib Royal? Nope. 25k? Yeah, maybe. 20K? Would’ve been gone already if I offered that price.

Check the sales history here on Pinside before chatting prices.

P-Town back in 2019 you and I were MMRRE compatriots. Did CCr LE sour you that much?

Oh yeah, that's the ticket!! Since they can't make a CGC, obviously that just means they can produce something else no problem.

LMAO.

I was rude and it was uncalled for.

Kinda .... my last CGC pin may get here sometime in 2025 ....they make a great product, but suck on meeting timelines

Good point....since they can't make pins maybe I'm totally wrong on value ...

I was going to downvote the ad for price - but the I'm not offended unless you kick my dog cancelled that out since I love animals. Funny shit. GLWS.

Originals didn't really hold up like you're saying.

I've seen many blown to shit original MM's. They had to be restored to look as good as a remake.

Yes I do a full restore on them and they out last the remakes I was just saying the originals are build way way better then the pins made today

Probably not right thread but I will try anyway. Looking at picking an LE up.

What is the availability of the topper? Are they attainable?

What is the availability of the larger screen?

What should an LE go for?

Sorry if this info is not relevant to the original post but it would give some insight into what I should pay for and LE and if it would be better to go Royal.

Thanks

You should email CGC or PPS and ask...a few years a go they sold the updated screen, lighting kit, and topper...no idea if they are still available?

I interested if those mods are available on the secondary market and what the going rate for them would be.

Maybe you can just sell me your Jurassic Park LE instead?

I have no idea....my guess is CGC would have the updated display/speaker panel in stock as its the same in all their new games. I dont really recall, but I think I paid around $1K for the 3 upgrades (display, topper, lighting)...

Hey you original machine. Damn you for being blown out after thousands of plays over decades!

I know someone that is holding 2 NIB. Nuts? Yes, but I suppose to each their own.

I also happen to know of an INSANELY desirable NIB game that will be coming to the market soon. It very likely is the only one in existence.

#48 3 months ago

Fingers crossed it’s a Supreme. Ha.

It probably was appropriate and called for Kim, whatever it was. I hate what this hobby has become.

My comment was a defensive knee-jerk retaliation and equally snide to his comment.

It would have served no good purpose and I can do better.
