For sale: Medieval Madness (Remake - LE)

Added: May 26th, 2017 Ended: June 3rd, 2017
Condition: HUO - Documented (Home Used Only)

Item description

Up for sale is my Medieval Madness Remake # 787 with stainless steel trim. I bought the game new less than a year ago and just did an audit that shows it has 97 plays. Not surprising since I have a few other games I play quite a bit more. Game works perfectly and looks like it just came out of the box. As was standard, the game comes with the factory installed shaker motor. In addition, the machine still qualifies for the color DMD for $199 at Planetary Pinball. I am happy to order it for the buyer at $199 extra. Sealed manual and goodies still intact like the day it was shipped.

Pictures are up. I apologize but I have TBL sitting right behind it facing a different way so was not able to get the backglass all the way off. I will be moving things around this weekend and am happy to get the two shots which you don't see.

1. Underneath the playfield
2. Left side of the head

I can assure you, both look as though the game just came out of the box.

I see you have Houdini listed in your collection. Planning on getting one ? Or?

Yea, it should really be in the Wishlist section but I already have a deposit down.

Seems like a very fair price to me, GLWS. Is the diffuser installed?

Thanks. This was the later batch with the corrected inserts. Diffuser (or whatever changes they made) were done during making of the machine. Does not have after market diffuser.

Good question though and thanks for reminding me and for the bump!

Moved GBLE and TWDLE for better pictures with the glass off. See attached.

I'm really debating grabbing a remake LE, I miss this game. Can you or someone remind me what they originally cost when pre-ordered? Was it cheaper to go stainless vs black or gold or all the same price from factory?

So for that ColorDMD, can you only buy it if you were an original purchaser or it can be bought later but just costs more? Sorry I didn't keep up on the MMR LE news along the way back when it was going, bump for my lack of knowledge.

Either way, I have an excellent reputation on Pinside in selling games so I would be happy to purchase it for the buyer if they were not able to buy it themselves.

I believe the MMR LE was MSRP $8499 and SE was\is MSRP $7995. $500 more. all trims same price, LE had the factory installed shaker. DMD color chip it seems that the original buyer only can get it for $199. I could be mistaken on some of this but that's what I remember...

MSRP was the same for both ($8k), though some distributors may have upped the LE price later in the game. The distinction was that MMR was initial introduced as an LE of 1000, but demand was high enough that they added an SE run within a few days of announcing the game (slightly fewer perks, same price, meant to ship after all LEs did). For the DMD color chip, LE purchasers were offered a $199 price, while SE purchasers have to pay $399. Not sure whether the right to buy a discounted DMD color chip goes with the LE, or if the initial purchaser has to buy it (as eggbert's offering to do here).

Game is staying local via a local pinball website. I will still however give Pinside a few bucks for all of their efforts in this and past games.

Thanks to all who looked and all of the kind words.

Bump. Unfortunately, back up for sale. Buyer had some creative issues with using a shipper that was concerned about IRS issues, etc.

Anyway, had quite the list of people interested so please reach out to me again.

Game sold...AGAIN! Game still staying local but will float some funds to Pinside on the next check. Thanks again to all who PM'd and had kind words.
