Beautiful game, I have played it and it plays great. Someone will get a really nice LOTR.

That playfield looks to be in incredible shape based on the few pics posted. However, I would be concerned about not just the "slight white rust" on the galvanized surfaces as you mentioned, but the overwhelming amount of regular rust on other metal surfaces. Hinges, screws, almost everything in those pics seems to be affected. The amount of continual moisture exposure that it would take for that amount of oxidation could also be a potential problem for any wood in the unit (cabinet, playfield, backbox).

While that is a valid potential issue from storage I inspected the game when I played it, no issues with the cabinet wood at all. Game is very clean as shown by pics, no issue except the slight surface oxidation on some metal parts which he mentioned.

Clearly not just "slight white rust", red rust is already showing up which indicates the galvanized layer has been eaten through and the bare metal is susceptible. Looks like the hinge on the coin door could be affected and even some t-nuts already show red rust. What do the boards look like?
