Selling my LW3 to help fund my next title. Loops, pops, drops, orbits, holes and a ramp, these Data East games are a full package. They may be a lack a little luster in code, but if you’re looking for an entry level pin, or something to put on location, then this would be a great option. I bought it for the above features just to scratch the DMD itch while I was working on two other EM’s.

Pros:
• New Rottendog MPU board in the back. No batteries!
• No LEDs, no mods – A fresh start to upgrade the machine as you see fit.
• The playfield is in great condition… But could use a little dusting…
• Couple new parts here any there. The common launch issue has been addressed.

Honesty Policy – Known issues
• The cabinet has dings and scratches. Some touched up from the previous owner, some awaiting love.
• The translate looks great face-on, but clearly there’s been some burn through touch ups. Furthermore, there’s no bottom lip to assist you when removing it from the back box, but I put a piece of tape there to help.
• Speaker panel is missing a mounting clip on the right side. There’s one on the left so it locks in fine.
• The main issue I’ve noticed since owning this game – The display can be a bit flakey. Just discovered that the quick easy fix is to buy two new eproms for the Rottendog MPU. ($35)

Other than that, it’s a solid machine! I mean, if I were to keep it long term, I’d replace all the rubbers, bulbs, perhaps a new power cord, but that’s something you’d rather decide for yourself.
