I got a different.. interpretation to what Flippertron was saying.

How about an EM like Melody but with a simple all in one PCB? They have them for Gottlieb System one games for around $400 which might even be overkill for a 60's style EM. Hell you could even use an existing Pascal board with custom ROM.
