Quoted from Datsun1500:Why do people get all butt hurt when they lowball you and you say no? $9000 CASH TODAY is not a realistic offer, and CASH TODAY makes you look dumb, what else would I take? Pokemon cards?
A couple points (I'm not defending them, offering my POV):
1. You can use Zelle or a bank wire transfer (same thing basically). Both are extremely secure and are practically instantaneous. Seller take wire from me when I bought JP Pro, so there are a couple other secure options (admittedly, not many).
2. Looking at RUSH Prem MSRP, that value is $8999 for a brand NIB game- so in theory, the offer of $9K is a fair offer for a used game. That being said, you do have a couple solid mods (Tilt Topper, shaker and Amber shooter rod) - the prices are changing so fast it is hard to lock in on a fair value for these. I'd say $125 (shaker) + $150 (amber rod) + $225 (topper) - putting the price at $9500.
Reviewing the marketplace, a LOT of people are hiding the actual sales price of JP Prem, which annoys TF out of me as we can't get a feel for the market value on recent sales. That being said, this one here sold for what you are wanting, and it has your mods, the Stern official topper AND more:

Some distributors are doing some nasty gouging lately - especially with "take it home prices" at some recent and future shows. They can do that as they take a much higher financial risk than you or I as they buy a stock of games. Right now, they can nearly name their price - that was not always the case and only really started the last year (start of 2021 I'd say). You and I are not distributors that sell warrantied NIB games. We have no assurance to offer a buyer other than it's a good game that we have tried to take care of and add selectively tasteful mods.
Ultimately, the market will determine the price someone is willing to pay. I was stuck on CFTBL until I lowered the asking price by $500. That was enough to give someone the peace of mind to say "ok, that'll work for me!" and it is getting picked up in the near future. Maybe drop your price by $500 and see if anyone bites.
Hope that gives some perspective. Not trying to defend whoever said that to you - simply offering my thoughts. GLWS!
