Jurassic Park in Richmond, VA - $2,200

Added: September 6th, 2015 Ended: September 22nd, 2015

Item description

For sale is a Data East Jurassic Park. Located in Richmond, VA and is on the first floor of my house making for an easy move. Previous owner had this game for 15+ years and did not see a lot of play. Sad to see this one go but I only have room for one in my house so I like to mix it up. Asking $2,100 OBO.

The Good:
- Game plays great
- Playfield in really nice condition. Scoop wear was repaired and Cliffy protectors were added.
- T-Rex moves up/down and eats the ball every time. Left/right motion was disabled when the T-Rex fell out of alignment during the move and I haven’t had the desire to re-align it since the up/down motion is all I really care about.
- Lower flippers rebuilt
- Boards are great, no battery acid damage, burnt connectors, etc
- I gave the playfield a pretty decent cleaning when I first got it, taking off the majority of plastics and cleaned the subway too.

The Bad:
- Cabinet wear typical of what you would expect from a game of this age. Some wear around the flipper buttons and dings on the head.
- Lockdown bar is included, but for whatever reason does not have the metal tabs which go into the receiver mechanism so the bar never actually locks.
- One broken plastic above the “A” scoop
- No topper

Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions.

I'm interested, but your album only links to one pic. Can you update or PM me?

I always have to see if people have done something to modify their right ramp so that the ball doesn't spit out over the right slingshot. Haven't seen a zip-tie before. But looks to be effective. I ended up putting some post bumpers on the end of mine.

After spending an hour with various sized washers trying to get the habitrail dialed in, I gave up and put in the zip tie. Haven't had an errant ball since! Certainly not the cleanest fix but it works.
