Such odd things to mention, why would Germany increase the odds of a pin being around smoking or humidity? Looks like a well loved pin maybe it was owned by an engineer. Yes that is sarcasm.
The salt water thing is down right laughable obviously containers are sealed. The couple of weeks in an airtight container is not the issue it’s the 30 years of changing seasons. This looks like a nice JP and the only real issue is it probably won’t accept American quarters, if that matters to the buyer.
