how the hell can you even play the game with the lighting like that. With the green, the playfield is so dark and washed out, you can't see a damn thing. especially with the backbox as bright as that. JP has major glare problems already because of the whites and yellows where they are. Double that, with basically NO Gi playfield lighting since it's LED'd like that. There is no way that you can play this game with anything less than room lighting similar to a walmart.

Quoted from Arcadevudoo:

Wait... let’s find something to complain about, price...hmm nope, description... hmm seems accurate, ah wait I have it, “the lights are too green”

Colored GI's are always the biggest complaint everywhere. because it always looks like ass and makes the game difficult to play.

Quoted from Blackbeard:

Quite the subjective opinion.
Honestly, you're just a complainer. GTF outta here with this crap.
OP GLWTS.

actually it's not. proper lighting is a science. If you take a monochromatic color and try to light multiple colors, the entire area is bleached to one color. Turning all the art in that region to mush. Take that, in conjunction that the human eye has trouble focusing and following anything that strays away from the white and yellow spectrum and you now have just compiled your problems. if you are spending $3100 on a JP, you do not want to have to spend another couple of hours changing all the GI's. If you are selling a game, you want it to show well and not create a bunch of extra work for the buyer. Regardless on how much the kids and wife love how the game looks from across the room, it doesn't help your sale.

Quoted from Pinphila:

I have sold many games because of the "kids and wife".

maybe so, but you are reducing your sale pool to the 4% around here that think colored GI's are ok. Wouldn't it be better to make it appealing for 100% of buyers?

I have played many games with all green. And every one of them looked like shit, and was damn near impossible to play in a dark setting. People like to make LOTR look like this, and every single LOTR done in green was hard to see, and the game looked terrible. Every single one.

think it's 50%.

Take a look at this thread.

https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/no-rainbow-puke-club-post-pics-of-worst-color-gi-fails

might be 50% of FB people. I see this kind of crap on there more than anywhere else. Try looking at a color picture in a red developing room and see how it looks. That's how every game with colored GI's looks. It's not an opinion. It's actually how it looks. Undeniable fact. How easy is it to read or focus in a red room? Not easy at all. Also fact. Just trying to tell you, that you will open up your sellers market much broader, by doing GI lighting correctly.

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

The idea that bad LED bombs are gonna reduce your potential sales pool is ridiculous.
Most people don't care. And if they do it's an hour at most to change every single GI on the game, and you can do that from below the playfield.
What is it about Wisconsin and all the hot air? I guess manufacturing really is making a comeback there!

I disagree. If i'm paying on the high side for something, I do not want to have to go back and spend couple hours redoing something right. If a game is done like this, i'm talking down in price because of the extra work I have to go and do.

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

You keep sayin "you" and you mean "me."
You are the only one who gives a shit. you are the only one who would pass on a deal because you have to spend an hour changing lights. And since you aren't gonna buy this anyway it's irrelevant.
WHo's gonna sell you a game anyway? You seems like a real peach to deal with.

I know right. We always get along so well and have the past 14 years or so.
