Item description

Selling my Jurassic Park. Playfield
Is in great shape with no wear (at least I can’t find any). Game plays great and fast. Flippers are nice and strong. Boards are all good, no hacks. Trex works great. Cabinet is solid. I have done the following to the game:

Top side disassembled and cleaned
New white rubbers
New Topper
Leds and some flasher Leds
Cliffy protectors on scoops
New kickback bracket (always busted)
Subway removed and cleaned
Ramp cleaned and waxed
Newer DMD
Leg protectors
Legs were refinished
New leg levelers
New bolts where needed
New clear star posts on playfield

The game is not a perfect specimen (it would be more $$$ if so) There are some scuffs on the cabinet and some of the black areas were previously touched up. There are bolt holes on front which have been filled with a bolt. The ramp was expoxied at some point but not noticeable and it’s rock solid. I think that is it.

Game plays great and fast. Very clean game IMO.

Great looking game!

Coin door wiring looks hacked up.

Is the T-Rex missing it's bottom jaw plastic?

Some Op in the past installed a counter. If you are really interested in the game, I can remove it.

Yes, ministry sells them. Trex works fine.

Great seller and game looks really nice deal with in confidence; hard title to find in great shape now a days. Great deal for someone

#13 5 years ago

Great seller! You don't often see them with the topper anymore

#14 5 years ago

Thanks guys!

#15 5 years ago

If someone doesn’t want the topper because of ceiling height issues, I can keep and deduct $$$

Man, no love for JP these days.

No offense at all, but thats a pretty high price for a self described players game with no color dmd. You might get more hits just under 3k.

€69.95 from Ministry of Pinball.

Buyer maybe could do better with a wanted ad on Pinside, BAA was selling these for $13 before they went out of stock.

Go look at the archived sales. I think my price is reasonable. People are free to make an offer.

#21 5 years ago

Price is completely reasonable.

JP is a great pin that is in demand right now. When I purchased mine, seller told me he had at least a dozen offers in on the same day as mine. This price is spot on from what I've seen on here, especially for one WITH a topper, cliffys, and shopped.

An aside: the JP CLUB is the most posted on club thread on this site.

how the hell can you even play the game with the lighting like that. With the green, the playfield is so dark and washed out, you can't see a damn thing. especially with the backbox as bright as that. JP has major glare problems already because of the whites and yellows where they are. Double that, with basically NO Gi playfield lighting since it's LED'd like that. There is no way that you can play this game with anything less than room lighting similar to a walmart.

#24 5 years ago

IMO this is a very fair price, for sure it will sell for asking if you dont mind waiting a bit!
I love my JP it always draws friends in when they come over.

Ahh Neo, I beg to differ. That pic was taken with no light. Would you play any pin in complete darkness without pinstadium? Any normal room lighting is fine.

I picked up a Jurassic Park last month (highly recommended game BTW) and play it with the lights off in the room all the time. The color scheme is an easy fix for anyone who buys the game if they don't like these colors and would run about $50 or so to get some frosted white GIs to replace the colored ones in the playfield and have plenty over for GI. With some new lights and a mod or two I think you could be into a Jurassic Park for $3300 here... about what I have in mine. This is not a crazy price and if no one bites in a week or so, I'm sure the price will be reduced until it goes. Seller is doing nothing wrong and this is a fun game. This is essentially a Whirlwind playfield rip-off (seriously, compare the layout of the two) with The Addams Family rules. Both those games are fantastic, and this one is too. This is also a very fun game to mod. GLWTS!

Yeh, I ran the green in there because I had a ton of green LEDs i wanted to get rid of...I can always change it. If it doesn't sell, Ill bring to Allentown. Its a fun game and frankly I love playing it every night. I will probably miss this one too.

I sold my JP a few months ago. I had the ad up for 3 days, got a dozen calls. Ended up selling it for full asking price.

Demand is easily there for this title, and this listing is far better shape than mine was.

Wait... let’s find something to complain about, price...hmm nope, description... hmm seems accurate, ah wait I have it, “the lights are too green”

GLWS, sold my JP a couple weeks ago for $3,500. It was in a little better shape and sold for full asking price within a week.

Colored GI's are always the biggest complaint everywhere. because it always looks like ass and makes the game difficult to play.

Quite the subjective opinion.

Honestly, you're just a complainer. GTF outta here with this crap.

actually it's not. proper lighting is a science. If you take a monochromatic color and try to light multiple colors, the entire area is bleached to one color. Turning all the art in that region to mush. Take that, in conjunction that the human eye has trouble focusing and following anything that strays away from the white and yellow spectrum and you now have just compiled your problems. if you are spending $3100 on a JP, you do not want to have to spend another couple of hours changing all the GI's. If you are selling a game, you want it to show well and not create a bunch of extra work for the buyer. Regardless on how much the kids and wife love how the game looks from across the room, it doesn't help your sale.

I have sold many games because of the "kids and wife".

maybe so, but you are reducing your sale pool to the 4% around here that think colored GI's are ok. Wouldn't it be better to make it appealing for 100% of buyers?

Neo, I respectfully disagree on the 4%. I would bet over 50% of the games I sell, the buyer says..."my wife and kids like this game" or "they will like this game".

Regardless, the game looks nice and unless you are playing in pitch black, the game looks fine. I have had numerous friends come play the game and like it. Your opinion is your opinion and that is fine. What I object to is you shitting on someone for-sale thread.

#39 5 years ago

I have played many games with all green. And every one of them looked like shit, and was damn near impossible to play in a dark setting. People like to make LOTR look like this, and every single LOTR done in green was hard to see, and the game looked terrible. Every single one.

think it's 50%.

Take a look at this thread.

https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/no-rainbow-puke-club-post-pics-of-worst-color-gi-fails

might be 50% of FB people. I see this kind of crap on there more than anywhere else. Try looking at a color picture in a red developing room and see how it looks. That's how every game with colored GI's looks. It's not an opinion. It's actually how it looks. Undeniable fact. How easy is it to read or focus in a red room? Not easy at all. Also fact. Just trying to tell you, that you will open up your sellers market much broader, by doing GI lighting correctly.

Your pfs look like you scribbled crayon all over and then cleared them.

Every single one.

The idea that bad LED bombs are gonna reduce your potential sales pool is ridiculous.

Most people don't care. And if they do it's an hour at most to change every single GI on the game, and you can do that from below the playfield.

What is it about Wisconsin and all the hot air? I guess manufacturing really is making a comeback there!

I disagree. If i'm paying on the high side for something, I do not want to have to go back and spend couple hours redoing something right. If a game is done like this, i'm talking down in price because of the extra work I have to go and do.

A couple hours...this is possibly one of the easiest games to shop and replace lights.

"high side" - look at the past sales, i dont think its the high side neither do many others.

You keep sayin "you" and you mean "me."

You are the only one who gives a shit. you are the only one who would pass on a deal because you have to spend an hour changing lights. And since you aren't gonna buy this anyway it's irrelevant.

WHo's gonna sell you a game anyway? You seems like a real peach to deal with.
