Some better pictures as requested. I have used a few people that charge $150 from Chicago to Florida.

#16 3 years ago

How many plays?

#17 3 years ago

IM is good for everyone. Beginners love it because it is fun, intermediate players, like myself when I got it, get anxiety about having in their line up, but love it because it is fun, but hard and makes them such a better player and pro players love it beacuse it is hard. How is that possible? Ask Borg.

Like Nike says "Just do it" and dont make excuses that you dont want IM because you like deeper games because it scares you. Even so IM will make you a better player to beat those deeper games anyway. Beat them! No kidding! So don't root for the Cubs forever and play LOTR or TSPP over and over not reaching your goal. Play a game like IM over and over, play better and be the Red or White Sox and win Cubs the friggin Series by beating that deep pin!

If you play pinball you are in the club. If you want to own or own IM well.....

(I am drinking Bourbon now )

If this were anywhere near me, I'd be in my house by now. Love IM.

Curious do you have a connection for shipping? I looked at this too but my last game was 350 to ship.

#29 3 years ago

Dude......... Pinball machines are clearly not moving. Someone pick this up.

#30 3 years ago

How much did these sell for NIB?

#31 3 years ago

yea, i paid 400 from new york to indiana.

#32 3 years ago
Quoted from jruddr:

How much did these sell for NIB?

I paid $4800 for mine.

#33 3 years ago

I was hoping someone bought this already. I've been in the market for an IMVE for a while now. I was on "the list" from a popular distributer for a NIB one if anymore came in, but they haven't. The last time I shipped a pin was from PA to CA and it was $400. Oh wait, no......the last time I shipped a pin was WOZ and it was $500 something from NJ to CA. That was on a pallet and in the box so the damage in transit was much less likely. Bump for the seller

This is getting close to making me feel like I overpaid for the 2010 Iron Man I just bought.

I paid $260 to ship my Whirlwind from Florida to Virginia.

You guys are gutsy to use anything but NAVL. When You have a claim NAVL pays...Rest don't from my past experience.

I've shipped 40 pins and have found out the hard way years ago.

#38 3 years ago

I'll try anyone EXCEPT NAVL. They won't ever get another penny from me again. NAVL sucks

#39 3 years ago

This is killing me, someone please buy this...

#40 3 years ago

I'll hire this guy before I go with NAVL

You had a problem with NAVL and they didn't pay claim?

#42 3 years ago

I heard NAVL is not shipping pins anymore...

#43 3 years ago
Quoted from sepins:

I couldn't figure out how to fill out the claim form...

Michele at NAVL handled both my claims and they paid Me exactly what I asked for.

#45 3 years ago

So is NAVL still shipping pins?

#46 3 years ago
Quoted from OHMI_Arcade:

I used them 2 months ago.

If You are going to use a normal freight company make sure You use the right freight class for the quote.

That's how I got hosed on my claim with Old Dominion. They said wrong freight class was used and denied the claim.

Quoted from sepins:

I had a problem with navl. Two middle easterners tried to extort the shipping fee from my 75 year old mother even though the shipping invoice clearly said "paid". Also the gave me 2 days in the next 15 as options and then had the nerve to only give me a 7 hour window. That was my first and last time using navl.

Whining about navl bump!

In my case, it was Curly of LSOG doing the shipping. He shipped it in a Stern box, strapped to a pallet. It was also half the price of this one, so damage wouldn't have been as costly.

Aren't there several people involved with shipping a pin? Those that picks up the shipment, which then gets transferred to someone doing the long haul, and then another person to do the delivery? Is this what causes such heterogeneous outcomes for different people shipping with NAVL?

In any case, off topic and I'll give a bump to this thread -- this is a great deal on a stock IMVE. Someone is going to be very happy getting this pin.
