It's a great game and it's a lot less than the cost of the regular iron man. Looking for trades +cash mostly but offers welcomed. Attached pics are of my game, they are also on the pinside page too. It plays great and I've just had my fill of iron man. Located in Ct.

What's the deal with this thing? Is it "the pin?"

Missing magnets, kickback, and flashers from the Pro. Lots of fun for $2200.

Not the "pin"! It has a cheaper cabinet, missing a few features but identical layout and rules as Iron Man. Lots of value for your money. Trades welcomed as well as offers.

How the frig does Iron Monger pose any threat at all without magnets? Right side grazes all day and stack up them super jackpots? lol...

Seriously though, I'd give it a shot if I had the cash and it was closer. Wish someone would bring one to TPF.

Isn't the cabinet also like particle board instead of plywood or something?

I got to play one of these awhile back, a customer of mine had one and let me try it. Seemed like a great value at less than half the cost I had just paid for an IMVE.

Don't forget that this also had LEDs straight from Stern.

Any interest in a trade for No Fear? Playfield is great, cab is a little beat.

Jespo19 have not seen you around much.

Been a busy guy lol! Now that the Ct pinball sanctum is running smoothly you can find me there most times, less time online though!
As of right now IM is spoken for, but if it falls through I'll keep everyone posted. IM has been a great game I've had it a long time. It'll be an awesome value for whoever gets it lol. Also its very rare =)

Buyer backed out. Back on the market prefer cash sale but trades welcomed. Biggest hurdle for buyers is the coin door, confusing for me how that matters so much to folks. Oh well.

There are whole threads on coindoor restoration. I don't get it. GLWS OP.

#13 3 years ago

Can you post some pics of the cabinet and what this whole game looks like?

I think you misunderstood. It doesn't have a coin door. It's a non-commercial machine.

From the flyer pic on IPDB, this doesn't look like it has playfield glass rails. What about the DMD? Is it any different?

#16 3 years ago

I've always been curious to play one of these but haven't had the chance yet. It seems like this would solve the issue that a lot of people have with Iron Man being too tough / random. I love the tough / random stuff, but I'm surprised these don't get more attention!

From the same era, I really really want to find one of the BDK ones to give a few plays.

Here's a pic. the lockdown bar is the standard stern "clip" one. The game doesn't have standard rails, the glass has to pop out over a notch, which is actually easier because you don't need to have 5 feet clear in front of the game to pull out the glass. I painted the bar red lol. You can notice in the pics that the game has all leds and where the monger magnet and whiplash magnets were are just inserts.

Why is there a shadow free play card? Lol

Because it's at the Sanctum in CT.

Last bump, looking for interesting trades, game survived another 24 hour Sanctum tourney lol!
