This kind of reminds me of the NiftyLED thread from a few months back. That didn't turn out too well for them. Hope the few extra grand is worth your reputation on Pinside.

Chill out guys. If I was a repeat customer of a distributor and they jacked the price up on me when a title got hot, yes that would piss me off and I’d find a new one. But I have no problem with a distributor putting a game for sale to the masses for whatever they think the market will bare. As many have mentioned these guys have to take inventory on the crap games too (often at a loss I’m assuming).

So he should sell it to someone else at Msrp who will list it for more the same day? Distributors need to make money too, everyone of you guys want a deal but no one wants to help distributors keep their doors open.
