Quoted from CrazyLevi:Not sure what you mean by a pyramid scheme. He’s simply reselling a game at a higher price than he paid. Nothing wrong with it and what everybody else does here all the time.
My apologies, I meant
Ponzi scheme
noun
-a form of fraud in which belief in the success of a nonexistent enterprise is fostered by the payment of quick returns to the first investors from money invested by later investors.

Pinball "presales" combined with a company never producing or delivering a game worth playing is becoming a common practice in the pinball world. Stern presales that are sold before the game is delivered seems risky to me but have at it. If the inserts are ghosting and the cabinet is separating you would never know that because you did not open the game.
Additionally, Stern may not uphold the warranty on a secondary sale.
No one really cares so I don't know why people are in a tizzy. Same day, different pile of bs.
NOTHING ever said in a FS thread has ever influenced ANYONE ever buying anything-EVER. People get scammed, dooped, and buy games for whatever they want in threads more heated than this one all the time. People screaming the "watch out for that seller" all fall by the wayside because there is a new game out and I need it for who cares how much because it's my dream theme. blah-blah
People say their opinion in a FS thread... If the seller cared what was said, they would not have clicked that little checkbox that says "Start a topic in the Marketplace forum on Pinside". You don't have to start a discussion to list a game for sale on Pinside. This guy did so we are discussing. The seller does not own the thread nor does he control what happens in it. There is no need to defend any entity at all here.
I would pay 20k for it but only if you could deliver it to me by noon. I am planning a pizza party and want some pinball there.
