Cheers for the honest description.

#4 4 years ago

This one will be good...popcorn is ready.

#5 4 years ago

For this price, Indy should be fully shopped with colordmd and 100% working.

#6 4 years ago

How much for the stack of red chairs?

#7 4 years ago

Dang Pinside inflation, it’s 500 cheaper on Facebook

Bro, your selling a project machine for 8k.
Clean and rubber it. Get the drops replaced.
At least make it presentable for the price.

Agreed. I bought a CQ IJ last year for just a few thousand more with brand new everything, LED, Cleared PF, Topper and all sorts of other mods.

#18 4 years ago

I’d get pics of the boards too since the batteries are dead

#19 4 years ago

You should have mentioned no smart ass comments needed in your ad because you are going to get plenty.

#20 4 years ago

If the boards look anything like the game their probably in bad shape....is it worth $4K?....I guess if someone wants a complete rebuild project

I got something similar condition and sunk almost $2k in to it and had a nice game...though my cabinet was fine. Lots and lots of labor though. Mucho labor.

#22 4 years ago

This would be a good pin to send to HEP for an amazing restoration. Get the pin for $5K and HEP it for $10-15K. Then you will have a gem.

#23 4 years ago

I'll trade you my Eight Ball Deluxe.

Is HEP's cost an additional $10-15K? The guy does amazing work

Yes approximately that much depending on how much you want done to it.. He has a minimum standard, which is very very high, to put his name on the pin. He never cuts corners. A lot of the cost is labor so I think an EM would be less expensive than a TZ.
I am saving my money to HEP my TZ at some point. Once you HEP your pin you have an heirloom quality keeper in the family.
If you are considering it the best thing to do is give Chris at HEP a call for up to date pricing. My info is old.

What a freaking joke. I love these newbs - 100 or fewer posts, usually way low - that think they can just show up in a place where people know what the fuck is up.

Nice job OP.

actually ive sold over 300 arcades and pins in the last 2 years. also im having a real hard time finding all these completely shopped indys for 7k or less. so if everyone starts selling their great indys at those prices or less, ill lower my price accordingly.

#29 4 years ago

Hey my friend, this thing is priced very high for being so beat up. You would be lucky to get 5K for it. IMO.

#30 4 years ago

if you add up all the prices for the machines price to sell in your above thread in 2019 the average price of the 13 sold in 2019 is 8849.076

#31 4 years ago

Yours is beat to hell though. Beat.

#33 4 years ago
Quoted from Beaumistim:

add up all the prices

With no regard for condition, yes.

Bunch of players games, shopped, in the 65-75 range.

#34 4 years ago

I am not a price policeman, just giving you an answer based on the market here. Did you click on any of the 6500-8000 games? Take a look.

never had any complaints.

#38 4 years ago

If you would have priced the game at $5K OBO u would be in the ball park....there are a lot of people on this site that love bringing back games to their former glory.....this is one game someone could dump $4k into the game and maybe recoup your money (not including the 100's of hours of labor of course).

#39 4 years ago

That is a wicked suntan that cab has. It must have peeked when the ark was opened. Don’t look, Marion, keep your eyes shut!!!

#40 4 years ago

Let me guess, that's a old Mr. hinson game?????

#41 4 years ago

The price on this game is out of wack, but so are all the comments on how beat this game is. It's faded and has some broken drop targets, but other than that it looks pretty good. The playfield looks nice.

A $4k complete rebuild project? Other than the decals, what do you see that warrants such a low price?

If this was local I'd have no problem throwing $5k+ at it as is, and I'm a cheap mofo that hates doing cab decals.

#42 4 years ago

$5k tops.

Nicer one with tons of parts (decals, brass trim, lost plastic, etc) sold for $5500 a couple months ago

#43 4 years ago

Dust on the ramps and burger oil fingers on the glass.
Come on just a quick clean for the pictures wouldn’t hurt.

#44 4 years ago

Maybe that cabinet is a very rare white wood example

As u know things ad up quickly....this POS might need a new cabinet, play field, decals, mechs, dmd (I would do color), etc.....god only knows the shape of the electronics....u can easily find yourself spending $4K + 100's of hours of labor....if u want to just get it up and running reliably its probably a lot less.

The main issue is the faded decals. Otherwise, it looks like it just needs a basic shop job and a few parts replaced. Even the paint job on the idol looks to be in pretty good shape. I would certainly want to see under the playfield and in the backbox before making a final determination, but this game is certainly not "beat".

Yes, the asking price is higher than a shopped/restored game. But no, it's not a wreck. I agree that around the $5k mark seems to be a fair price as it sits. If you want to put the time into shopping it, rebuilding the flippers, and replacing the broken parts, that might push the price up to the high 5's or low 6's without redoing the decals.

#47 4 years ago

ive gotten a new set of decals.

Where from? Seems everyone is looking for them.

#49 4 years ago

That helps as their not easy to source...u should have included that in your sale

#50 4 years ago

That game would sell for 5.5k, as-is, pretty quickly on the craigslist near me....
Without including the decals.
