Get rocked!

#4 11 months ago

Hell YES! TEXTs, EMAILs, and PMs sent!!! See you tonight!

#5 11 months ago

I like nice even numbers. I would have been interested at 30K. . .

#6 11 months ago

Wish you were closer.

#7 11 months ago

Can I get a picture of the shooter lane?

I believe he is selling 9 pins for $33,000 but yeah a little hard to tell.

#9 11 months ago

10k by Christmas.

That would have to be the case, the wording is not very clear and the title makes it sound like its just for IJ. If that were the case, the wireforms, armor, and gun needs to be clad in 24k (real) gold.

#11 11 months ago

How many pins or what title are in the “entire collection”? Is it just the 9 titles listed?

#12 11 months ago

Isn't this the choggard guy?

#13 11 months ago

Rock Island.... Hmmmmm

#15 11 months ago

Awww BS,my TAFG is all in gold armor, and it was only about1large to do it!!

#16 11 months ago

Well, just at a glance, all 7 pins would about equal what he's asking! No way to tell the condition of other pins as IJ was the only one shown! I bet that photo was shopped out and this is all deep brownBS!!!

#17 11 months ago

this is the scammer from rock island. Smokey house, mediocre condition pins at premium prices. Buyer Beware!!! I once made the trip up to this guys house only to have him not be there and had his neighbor meet me. The games were not as described and I wasted hours of driving. Once he called me, I told him I was passing on the games. Mostly because of the hack job repairs I noticed and the overall smokiness of the house. He stated that he was rushing home and got a speeding ticket that I should pay for. Please be careful when dealing with this guy. He tried to scam me on two games then even had the balls to ask me for a few hundred bucks to pay his ticket. What a joke!

Seems like a fair and honest sale.

How in the hell did this asshat avoid The Purge?

#20 11 months ago

I come up with 23-25k as a fair offer for all 9 as a group buy.

Buyer beware and read the other thread if you are thinking of doing this. I highly suggest you take enough truck and people to cash and carry the whole colleciton if you are doing this. Dont leave with part and plan on coming back a second time. Just do it all at once.

To be fair, 33,000 is an even number.

33 even?

I also recognized this guy's name and location - ended up pulling the ripcord.

Yes 33,000 is an even number

#24 11 months ago

Well 33 isn't, but 33,000 most certainly is!

True, it is. But is it a NICE, even number?

#27 11 months ago

haha - 33000!! I was commenting on 33. This thread has really turned into a different direction!

To be fair to the seller, he does have 100% positive rating. If there were some people that had a bad experience with him, why did they not leave negative feedback? I’d be quite worried with the 1% positive forum rating.....

#39 11 months ago

"call no emails"

Paranoid, are we? From what I hear here I would prefer to have everything documented when dealing with you.

Edit: May not be Choggard... just another scammer from the same town.

#41 11 months ago
Quoted from Yoko2una:

This isn't his first account on Pinside. The first was Choggard. Forum search that name alone (or check out the link I posted earlier in this thread) for a taste of how this guy has conducted himself here. You can also reference his rating which I showed above which may be at > 1.0% by EoB today.

No, they are separate people. Choggard disappeared a while ago. I am sure he is still around though. This guy has been flipping junk in the area for as long as I can remember. Never met him, but know many whom have. All had the same experience. If i remember correctly, this guy has several different ebay accounts for obvious reasons

Do we know that for sure? I thought they were linked (either through general behavior and/or otherwise) many times before. I'll add an edit to my post, but this is still far more than a 'buyer beware' situation.

#43 11 months ago

Fairly certain he's not Choggard, but a "Choggardor", or one who "Choggards".

#44 11 months ago
Quoted from Yoko2una:

Yes, we know. Two different guys with two completely different names.

And what is "ill selling"

#46 11 months ago

its him

#47 11 months ago

his name is kevin honaker, same guy all the threads were about!

#48 11 months ago

I'm surprised he actually created a sales ad WITH a forum topic.

#49 11 months ago

Choggard was from Michigan and I think his name was Corey. Kevin has been selling out of the quad cities area

#50 11 months ago

Choggard was a bad seller out of Michigan. I don’t remember the specifics, but it was bad enough that his name became a verb to describe bad selling tactics, to put it nicely. There was another infamous seller out of Rock Island that “choggarded” someone, thus the connection. This isn’t actually Choggard, but the alleged guy out of Rock Island that was accused of “choggarding”.
