I could redo the front coin door with a new decal without that bolt would that make any difference. Having had several pins over a decade, I have looked at them more than I play them and a really nice classic Indiana Jones movie pin that is almost 30 years old and in show condition is a nice mix in a game room pinball lineup and gives the room that wow look. I appreciate any negatives and will take all in consideration to improve this pin and the sale.

All good here. You took the feedback, removed the HUO condition and all is fine. Folks are pretty sensitive here about what is considered HUO and for good reason. I've had a few machines in great condition like this but you could never prove it wasn't routed.

We didn't want the listing running while we assumed it was pretty much sold and having to tell everyone we were just waiting for final payment.

How many people are banging on your door for an $18,000 Indiana Jones?

I just hope it wasn't in your home for a decade with the speaker grilles installed upside down.

It previous sold and I received a large multiple thousands of dollars deposit but I let the buyer back out, another local pinsider wants a trade plus cash my way, I had 2 backup buyers but they both found Indy pins in the couple weeks after the first sale. The average selling price of these pins are 12 to 13k and this one is special and worth 5k more for brass and pristine condition. Another thing pinsiders are not considering is go find a brass coin door for a Williams pin! Even if you do find one, good luck and it is going to cost 700 just for a brass door alone plus time to find it ship it and install. This particular pin is a real classic gem and fine example of Williams pin no longer being made. Anyone can tire kick this to death okay by me but the majority minor flaws can be perfectly corrected and could be a HEP candidate but don't forget it works 100 percent already and if something works that is almost 30 years old the best advice sometimes is to leave it alone till it breaks.

It was that way all the time and I never noticed it and I also have hosted several local league tournaments and not one of them (like 25 pinheads) have ever mentioned it as well. Fixing it now and took off the overlay but I am surprised how clean the metal grill is, no dust bunnies after 30 yrs, where has this pin been I have no idea beside me for 8 and a Doctor in Dallas Texas ?yrs. Panels shown with no cleaning after I removed them.

Christ, can you give it a rest? Those things are never that dirty. They were also most likely cleaned when whoever did the work put them back in upside down.

Right, because "HUO" has a specific meaning -- it has been kept exclusively in private homes and never routed. But people routinely use it as "I have no clue as to the machine's history, but it's in great shape for its age." If you list something as "HUO" based on a hunch and the photos effectively prove that the game was routed, you're going to take some grief.

So everyone does know that the new Indiana Jones movie (5) is coming out in the summer of 2023 and think of the demand for these pins when that does happen, value should go up for Indy fever memorabilia.

Wouldn’t the smart play be to pull the listing, fix the decal, and re-list in the Summer of 2023 then?

This is bullshit, based upon 20 years of watching sequels get released while at the same time watching the pinball market like a hawk. I remember people claiming that T2 prices were going to rise when that piece of shit T3 came out, and people insisting that Evel K prices were going to spike when Evel bought the farm.

The release of Indiana Jones 4 increased the price of Williams Indiana Jones precisely zero dollars.

Despite the hopes and dreams of Ebay L@@k!! sellers forever, Sequels, pop culture happenings, celebs croaking...none of this shit affects pinball prices. The hype buzz on a sequel lasts about 2 weeks, you really think that's going to bump a price on a pinball machine?

This is a limited market I agree but for some pinsider that is a Disney collector or movie theme pinball collector I think they would like this in their lineup.

You got to stop rationalizing your asking price to a bunch of people that probably are t even looking for an IJPA. You want what you want to sell it. You either get the ask, lower the price or keep the machine.

You could have asked for more but failed to title your listing Indiana Jones Supremo

I have had 3 other pinsiders say that the price is right. I am listening to all the tire kickers and making improvements to this pin if it is a fixable flaw is found like I did flipping the upside down speaker grills, matching the flipper coils models, I might even redo the front rad cal with new panel w/o bolt etc. Since it is my sales ad, I try to counter negatives with positives.
If you are not looking for Indiana Jones why are you posting on IJPA ad thread?

Why do you think that brass is in such high demand?

I would replace that brass coin door with a stock black one because I don’t think it looks good.

I just like it in brass and to me it goes with the theme. Works for me and many others but to each their own and easily changeable and I can change it for you back to black if you purchase it and I will do it for no additional cost.

I really don't need to sell this and I can wait for it to sale but I just bought a Godzill and had no room for in in the lineup of 7 other pins. I am getting a 10k solar system installed shortly and wanted the cash to help pay for it so all my existing pins will run green and eventually free.

I’ll trade you 7 solar panels and a multicade pac man.

Seems like a silly comment. You were just given free input into making your machine more appealing for sale by fixing mistakes. Regardless of how difficult or easy the fixes are, the machine is actually a more proper example based on free feedback.

I know that some of these people are knocking your price as they point out the flaws, but it appears you learned a few things along the way as well (like the lockdown hole for example).

I would say that is helpful feedback, no?

It's not worth $18K, but who cares? If the seller is patient enough - and by all measures, he seems like a patient man! - it'll be worth $18K in a year or so.

That Indiana Jones 5 4K Blu Ray release will surely be the kill shot bump!

Yes, i appreciate it, it does help. We do learn more about how to fix up/ more about these machines from the feedback.

...in about 30 years when the cost/benefit ratio begins to balance out. Not to mention solar panels make your house look like ass. I have almost a violent reaction whenever guys at Home Depot accost me to install those hideous things. I love shooting holes in their stupid sales pitch until my wife drags me away.

That being said, I actually hope you sell this game. As an IJ owner, I'm always rooting for insanely-priced examples of this game to sell so I can justify the insane amount of money I paid for my HEP game...even though I'll never sell mine.

So GLWTS!!!
