Hello all. Deciding to sell my WMS Indiana Jones. Looking at the threads, I have no idea what to sell this thing for, but Pinside shows an estimated value range of $11,470 - $13,330, with a median selling price of $12,500. Sounds good to me, so listing for $12,500.
The machine overall is in pretty good shape I think, and I just did a full shop out on it. Complete tear down of the top, 3 coats of wax, cleaned everything, and replaced all rubber and bulbs. I have changed over some of the GI and a fair amount of top-side flasher to LED’s, but have left some incandescent (replaced). Given the multi-colored inserts on this game, most of the insert lamps have been left incandescent as well. The shop out included the bottom side, with all mechs taken apart and cleaned, with new sleeves. The flippers were fully rebuilt, with new coils. The boards in the backbox look pretty good to me, with the DMD and 8-Driver boards replaced prior to me with Rottendog boards. Everything back there seems to be in good shape, and works as it should. I don’t see any signs of trouble at the moment, or burnt connectors. Batteries are located off the board.
As you’ll see from the pictures, I’ve upgraded to a Color DMD, which is included, and the legs, gun, siderails, lockdown bar, and backbox hinges have been brass plated. These were done by Mike Chestnut many years back, but are still in great shape. The biplane propeller was also replaced with a working propeller that spins with the Hurry-Up: in event there are questions on that (original included). I also was bored one day and conjured up a working (lights) Ark mod, which can be easily removed if desired. Lost plastic has been added, as has the animated back-box/speaker panel jack-pot lights. I also replaced all the playfield mylar (large piece around the pops, below ball returns, etc...) a few years back, so that's all fresh.
There are a couple of minor blemishes, one on the playfield (near Marion), and the front left side corner of the cabinet, but other than that I think it’s pretty solid. Cabinet seems to be pretty good, with perhaps a bit of fade on the left side. I don't know, hard to tell in my basement. No broken plastics or ramps that I can spot. See pictures and inquire if you need more or a different angle.
I would really rather not ship this thing, as I would need to phone a friend for that, so opening this up locally first and will go from there. Not looking to trade. Feel free to reach out with any questions or if you'd like to come by to inspect.
