I talked to the owner today and it is now sale pending with Sunday pickup... I’m not the lucky buyer.

There’s another one for sale on Worcester Craigslist for $850.

You could have gotten this exact one for $700 less than a month ago. Well, minus the cleaning, a few minor repairs and some LED’s.

Agreed but not being retired, I just can’t drop everything and go on a pin run several hours away ASAP as I’m sure Ice Fever didn’t last long at that price.

And I could have had a $500 Bally Skyrocket EM in excellent working shape several weeks ago if I was not the 2nd one to respond to the NJ Craigslist ad ... did you see that one? It was sold locally to someone just looking for a pin for the household.

Not fond of a $1100 mark-up on price just from cleaning it up and throwing some bulbs in. Well, and a few very simple repairs. And less than a month later. Just seems kind of ridiculous to me.

The ad is in the archives from a guy in MA, and it’s clearly the same game. Same scratch on the left side of the cabinet. And I’m not sure how you say one owner when it has changed hands two or three times since.

That’s why I initially offered 900. Thought that was reasonable. And this should not be a $1700 game. I had a real nice one three years ago that I got for 700. Seems like a lot of people don’t care about making prices stupid ridiculous anymore.

I did see that Rocket and was trying to jump all over it. Just didn’t happen. I’m sure somebody snatched that up quick. I had a real nice one a year or two ago.

I would have agreed to ship it if I saw that message. Tracking down cardboard is tough around this house - but would have made it happen.

4. Is that a joke? We all ship parts...big and small. It’s not difficult. You can find cardboard at local food stores for free, or any local retail store. Or just buy one and charge the buyer (ULine, Staples, etc.) There is no shortage of cardboard boxes in the world.
