I think if anything, newer/ NIb games might drop a little after the chip shortage, not from the manufacturers, but from the NIB flippers. Short run games, "Spooky" for instance will not drop as much since there will still be a "shortage" due to low production numbers, chips or not.
I think EM's won't drop so much. I don't think people bought EM's because they couldn't get new games. I think prices are rising due to more interest in pinball. I also think minimum wage hikes and other factors, are driving inflation on EVERYTHING. That's never going away. It's not just a lack of supply but a combination of that and growing demand across the board.
