So, a couple of years ago, I had Houdini and sold it.

I missed it so much, that I bought another one NIB, a short while ago and my wife and I absolutely love it!

For me to buy the same machine twice it has to be a great game and, yes, it is!

Guys, if you are 'on the fence' about buying a Houdini, don't hesitate!

5k is the number. Thats what I just sold mine for with 130 plays.

This is a great deal at 5150 and he has the shake so basically the same as my deal. So much game. When its waxed, its brutally fast and fun. Its no harder than TZ so ignore that BS from folks. I will be buying one back some day.

All good comments to read. Houdini has been on my short list but I always seems to be in the fence with all the mixed reviews.

Dont be! Its a fun game. Some shots are tough but after some practice, you will be fine plus they are very rewarding when you hit them. The game is built like a tank as well. For 5k, its a great pin for the price.

That’s what I figured and I don’t mind tough shots. Lots of people complain about the Rob Zombie shots, but I don’t have an issue with them and love the pin. It’s nice to have something unique that offers an alternative to the more usual fare.

Houdini is not for everyone but I’ve had more fun playing Houdini than any other machine. It’s difficult to be sure but you’re going to have some epic games. Lots of special moments in Houdini’s modes. The silent film mode “Man from Beyond” is an incredible mode!!! Very deep code.

The knock is that it is klunky and that’s a fair criticism. However my take is that it makes you dial in the shots. The misconception is that the Trunk shot is hard. It’s one of the easiest shots once you find it... pretty much on the sweet spot of the flipper.

I would say I average 5 minute games and when I’m in the zone the typical game is 12-15 minutes. It’s a pretty intense game given that it’s not really a flow game.
