Is the DMD repairable, or will it need to be replaced?

I believe what we are seeing is the shutter speed on the camera while taking the photo is fast enough where it captures the cycling of the lights on the dmd.
I remember having this issue when I took pictures for the red claws in maine back in the day. They got a new digital banner thingy in front of the scoring table and I couldn't figure out for the life of me why the colors were off and there were missing portions of the banner in every picture. Slowing the shutter down would stop this. Taking pictures of a jumbotron I'd always have to take a few before I got all the scores or whatever in the photo.
If they were in the same exact spot in the photos above i'd definitely be asking more questions. It's one of the first things i noticed as well. Good eye.

I'd like to have this game but I still haven't even been able to get my f-14 upstairs yet because of no help. Maybe if seller would deliver and assist me in getting both games upstairs I'd be a major player here.

I respectfully disagree. 3 pictures show potential line out. If I am taking pics for an ad, I see shutter speed distortion before posting, and get a clear picture of 100% good DMD. I could be wrong.
