For sale: HEP/McCune Restored Monster Bash - HUO/CQ

Added: May 1st, 2017 Ended: May 12th, 2017
Condition: HUO - Documented (Home Used Only)

Item description

Up for sale is one of the nicest Monster Bash's you will ever find. I purchased this machine from RobT here on Pinside and now it is up for grabs. I am raising cash because I am selling my home to purchase a bigger one.. so a couple of my best pins need to go.

This MB was completely restored and is in collector quality condition. The playfield was completely restored and clearcoated by HEP, and the cabinet + everything else was handled by Jim McCune. It is one of a kind, and in perfect condition.

There is no wear anywhere to be found. It is better than a NIB pin.

Mods include:

ColorDMD
PDI Glass
Custom LED spot lights in the apron
LED lighting throughout
Pinball Pro speakers
etc

Please see the following YouTube video of the machine while will give you the best idea of this restore:

Also, for detailed pics of the restore process- please look at this photo album so you can appreciate what went into this high end restore.

I am not a fan of shipping pins that are this expensive and in this quality, so local pickup is preferred.

Quoted from Rarehero:

What's the point of a bigger home if you have less pins to put in it?

Haha.. no... it will have plenty of rooms to build a better/bigger collection.

Problem is I need to buy the new home first. It's $1.5m and I'm paying all cash for it. Selling lots of things to make it happen. I'm not a fan of borrowing money from banks or other people and paying them interest.. so I'm putting the cart before the horse and getting the bigger home to eventually have a much bigger collection

Quoted from RobT:

Would love to be able to buy it back but as kpg knows, I am full steam ahead on my Jeep build.
Amazing pin, which lasted longer in my collection than any other that I've had. McCune did an amazing job on this, and the Mirco PF was retouched/corrected by Chris at HEP.

Dude I so wish I could keep it longer. Only put on around 100 plays since buying it from you!

When I recover from the home purchase I'll be the first guy trying to buy this MB back if possible

Had two nice offers but wanting to ship it.

I'll give this 2 weeks to sell locally before considering shipping it. Just an FYI for anyone considering it that's out of state - thanks!

Must be tough to let a beauty like this go, GLWS.

It is trust me... but I know one day I'll end up with it again, or just have another restored. Someone will be getting a bad ass MB though !!

Lowered to $13,500

$13K firm now

You'll never find another HEP/McCune MB in this condition for this price again... even regular basic restored ones selling for high 11's and 12's

Snag this up while I'm desparate for cash..

Quoted from kapper:

Just ship it - you said you had 2 nice offers.

Not gonna risk it for a machine in this condition. Any damage to the cabinet or anything else would significantly diminish its value. I'd rather keep it then ship it.

KPG - I am about to start a MB rest. Would you mind sharing the brand/source of decals that were used. GLWS - HJBondar

Thanks ! Not sure.. it's whoever Jim McCune purchased them from when doing the restore.
