Item description

Hey basketball and sports fans, this 1978 Bally Harlem Globetrotters on Tour has lots of fun features, and as the name implies, this pinball is dedicated to the world famous Harlem Globetrotter basketball team.

The graphics on the new backglass translight depict a number of noted Globetrotters including: Fred “Curley” Neal, Hubert “Geese” Ausbie, and of course, Meadowlark Lemon. Additionally, the playfield and cabinet graphics depict a number of Globetrotter themes. The overall game restoration turned out much better than initially expected.
Renovation Specifics:

New Altek CPU,
power supply – new, from Alttek
replaced the original driver boards with new Altek solenoid driver board and light driver computer boards,
sound board is brand new
rebuilt displays
playfield looks new with no issues
New backglass translight
excellent cabinet touch-up
new power cord
new rubbers and ball
Fresh apron Bally logo decals have been installed

Game Features

This game is one of the 3rd generation of the early Bally solid state games and has an advanced sound board that replaced the chime unit found in Kiss and Evel Kneivel. This game plays fast, probably better than when it left the Bally factory in September 1979.

Bally made 14,550 units of Harlem Globetrotters and was obviously very popular with pinball players in the late 70’s and early 80’s. Many collectors believe that a Harlem Globetrotter pinball is a “Must Have” game for any good gameroom. The game has lots of terrific features including:

3 flippers
4 in-line drop targets
2 kick-out holds
3 spinning targets

Let me know if you have any questions on this renovation or if you would like to purchase the Harlem Globetrotter pinball machine. i put a new topper on the game that is not shown in the photos that is a reproduction metal sign poster promoting a Globetrotters game. Its pretty cool.

Harlem Globetrotters is For Sale: $2300

I don’t know if you nailed the paint job or not I can’t remember. Seems not right on the front.
