ok
im helping a customer of mine sell the game. she and her family are a transplant from australia. they moved back here after her husband's time in the military over there and bought this with. once they got back and looked for a place to live it sat in storage. during that time her husband died and she no longer wants that big of a place.

during her move they broke the plug off the game.
i have not ordered a new plug for it so i can not verify that it works but was told it worked fine over there. its in nice shape and i don't see why it wouldn't work.
i know its a pretty rare game there as well.

if you are going to put this game here you will need a new plus and a converter for the power as the transformer does not convert

also there are no keys for these locks they were open
but i will include locks when it sells

look at the pics and let me know what you think
yes i will ship it as long as you arrange it

Looks cool and would be great for any pinball museum
Shipping ads $500 so bit pricey then for untested game

At a much cheaper cost it would sell quick I think

I agree. Would be cool in a museum. Looks great for its age.

I can’t go any lower. She said it worked when they left but it’s a 240v game and she didn’t have an up converter for it. I think it’s pretty rare and the price is good. I was able to get her to discount it a thousand dollars

Never seen this game - that backglass is cool. glwts

Saucers right above the outlanes isn’t something you see much. Hope whoever buys it puts it out somewhere.

Probably the best condition FJ I've seen.
Buy a 110v to 240v step up transformer so that you can test out the game on your 110v power.
If it works it would be worth more, but for an untested game most people probably wouldn't want to risk that amount of money.
They only made approx 1000 FJ Holden pinballs, so a rare game, and especially rare to see one in the US.

It should be pointed out to our friends in the Northern Hemisphere that all 5 of the titles that Hankin churned out in the three years they were in operation from 79-81 are best described as poor players with a clunky design so you would be buying this as a piece of antipodean history rather than any sort of desirability or long term playability.

Quoted from Brk_oth:

They only made approx 1000 FJ Holden pinballs, so a rare game, and especially rare to see one in the US.

For context though, FJ was actually Hankins biggest seller at 1180 units and their first.

The sales numbers dropped off dramatically to a few hundred with the subsequent titles (including only 350 Empire Strikes Back which in 1980 should have been guaranteed money in the bank) and they closed up shop the following year.

They had the capital to buy the licenses and manufacture their own branded parts, but they couldn't design a pinball machine that anyone wanted to play.

Sounds oddly familiar?

As a car guy the theme is great. If it's still available in a couple weeks I'd like to buy it.
