Not at all. Priced accordingly for the chipping.

An hour ago it was 10,150, then 9600 and now 9300.
All in a hour and the chipping is minor and standard fare for JJP.

Pinside has price suggestion, i didnt realize and changed it, this is the firm price, dont want to play games with obo.

10150 is pinsider suggested price, i tried to change twice, then got it right. I have big giant hands and fingers andhit the wrong buttons, i corrected, why does this bother you? It all happened in three minutes time.

Going to be sorry to see it go but someone is about to become very happy! GLWTS!

Doesn’t bother me one bit and wasn’t criticizing, I was implying it’s a good price.

Ya know the market is insane when Pinsiders look past chipping playfields! Rock on...I'll be patient and wait until I can get one that isn't defective.

    #11 2 years ago

I knew this would happen and asked months ago when the angry mob of owners with chipped games would list their games at a fair and discounted price. Here’s the first one. I suspect more will come.

    12
    #12 2 years ago

The seller doesn’t seem to angry to me, nor part of a mob.

    #13 2 years ago

I couldn’t see the chip in the pictures, so a good repair! Many games are chipping these days. Just part of the hobby now.

Nice Price. Wish I was in the market.

    #14 2 years ago

Soo.... is it Dialed In or GnR?

    #15 2 years ago
    Quoted from CrazyLevi:

I wasn't referring specifically to this seller but the tone of the original GNR thread that took a "torches and pitchforks" turn as continued photos started to proliferate of the various instances of the chipping, threats of never buying JJP products, demands for a solution, etc. Based on the tone there I would have expected a "book burning" type revolt...lots of chest pumping and feather ruffling but ultimately no action. Another interesting commentary on this hobby.

I am frankly surprised it took this long for an admittedly chipped game to pop up for sale. If this seller was within driving distance to me I would have already been on the phone to cancel my preorder and be on my way to grab this machine!

    #16 2 years ago

We’re they not willing to send you a new play field? I know people LOVE JJP but jeez if that’s their customer service I’m not spending a dime with them. Stern always send me new parts if there are any issues including play fields

Side note great price this should sell quickly! GLWS

They do? You're a lucky man. Most people can't even get them to respond to a phone call or email these days.

I have to agree with this, I am not dropping $9k on anything with a defect.

It only has a "defect" because he pointed it out. Honesty gets you nowhere around here.

Game looks fine to me. I'm tempted.

It’s more than $1000 off retail, I’ll deal with some minor chipping for that. Incredibly cheap, I’d definitely buy if you were closer since it is pick up only. GLWS

I've looked a the photos several times and frankly don't see anything wrong with it.
Is the defect a little chip underneath the washers under the posts?
    If so, who cares.
Thats like kicking a supermodel out of bed because she has a zit.

No joke. Many LE buyers will be waiting months. Some for a $10,500 price tag. This game can be played in your home tonight. The price on this is great for a defect you can’t even see. This hobby needs to get back in touch with what matters most. Playing and enjoying the games.

    #25 2 years ago

nobody takes as good of care of his games as Dennis. and you have the game today. This is a great deal.

What does the said repair entail?

    #27 2 years ago
Quoted from jkashani:What does the said repair entail?

Same as all the other games JJp has made with this common issue, a rubber washer under the post. Can’t see it anymore and doesn’t get worse.

True that. The same exact people ask for pictures of shooter lanes as an entire determinant of a machine condition and overpay for games with all blue LEDs installed. Silliness!

    #29 2 years ago

It's not like the NIBs sold way above msrp are guaranteed chipping free. I think this is the best deal out there for a brand new GnR

    #30 2 years ago

You're almost always better off with a game someone set up and worked the initial kinks out of. A lot of people in the hobby are now NIB or nothing it seems. Maybe it's the cash on the glass that is tripping people up.

Hey, I’m still interested in shooter lane porn. Especially on Sterns. Doesn’t make me a zealot.

    Lol

I bet that game is sold 5 Times over. Not everyone rushes back here to post sale pending.

Hence why I said those who use it as an entire determinant in my post! There’ll be a game posted for sale with 1 pic and ppl be like lemme see that shooter lane, and that’s all lol

I didn’t crack on shit, I complimented the game where I felt it was warranted and at the same time offer critical opinion. I do the same for every game. LZ has turned out to be a really fun game and the code for being early is very good but there are a couple things I’ve been critical about too.

POTC has grown somewhat stale, code likely will never be finished on it and the only other game that mildly interests me at this point in time is GNR. Doesn’t mean I’ll keep it forever but maybe I will, who knows.

This is really one for the annals of debate history.

One day scholars will look back upon this as a touchstone of modern discourse.

Does anyone know if it sold or if it's still available?
