Play counts are overrated. My gotg le had over 13,500 plays and looked as good as my metallica with under 1000. Great price, good luck to the seller.

Just curious what your threshold for a lot of plays is? Game could use a shop to clean up surface dust but is otherwise gorgeous and plays like butter.

Sure it plays great. North of 3,000 plays is a lot IMO. But it was routed so makes sense. Still great deal on a great game.

some of the same people saying that anything above 3k plays is a lot, are eagerly seeking out older games with north of 50-100k plays, still in nice original condition. this whole play count thing is doing nothing but making people afraid to play their machines for fear of depreciation. i couldn't even imagine spending the entirety of my time in the hobby being hyper-aware of the play count. yuck!

I agree…stay up on your pinball maintenance and your game will look great for many plays. I’ve seen games under 500 plays that looked worse than my game with 1,200 games on it

Yep. My NIB LOTR (from 2004) has well over 10k plays and plays strong and looks better than some of the newer Sterns with 500 plays. No joke.
