Price drop! Played the game again last night. I may regret selling this, as the machine is so much fun. But Godzilla and Ultraman are coming, so this has to go.

Looks like you have some serious pooling going on at the left outlane/inlane post... Sorry to call it out but that is a considerable markup from purchase price while being advertised issue free. With low plays, this is where it starts unfortunately, then spreads to other posts with more plays on the machine. It may be a reflection but it looks like the top playfield may have some as well, hard to tell from the angle of the photo... Original image for the bare post pooling is at the bottom...zoomed in to get a better look on the original

What you are seeing is simply a reflection. The game has zero pooling, zero playfield issues. For reference, I've been collecting pinball for 15 years, have installed over a dozen clear coated playfields-- NOS, CPR, Mirco, and HSA restored playfields. In other words, I know what I am looking at.

Not doubting your knowledge but he does have a point. Could you provide a location picture of Just the post he pointed out. Sure looks like pooling to me.

Dave is a good guy but seems he missed that spot . Maybe more spots too if that one is like that , I have the same CE Model and attest to if one. you have more than One ! Period. Now when he looks he can no longer deny it. .

If not heated or touched up in some way it will chip off like mine from ball hits from normal play

Well, you guys were all correct, and I was wrong. There is a small area of pooling around that post. I can't believe I didn't see it.

I'll be revising the ad. I believe it is very repairable, especially since the painted area under the pooled clear is all black.

While no negative sentiments towards the OP exist here, this ad is indicative of what JJP is now... I now just assume every JJP game has pooling and if I were buying a used one, since I'll never buy NIB from JJP again, I'm now in a "is this in an area that can be seen when it inevitably chips" kind of a mode... Quite the sad state of affairs.

Regardless, GLWS.

email Barry [email protected] and ask him to add you to the playfield list. Summer of 2022 JJP is having GnR pf made for those that have issues with theirs. Cost is 500$ but once your pf starts pooling/chipping it's only going to get worse. Whether you sale the machine or keep it would be good to have the option to buy a new pf at (almost) half the price.

man that's terrible that a new game is having those issues. is the later LEs that are being built remedied so this isn't ALL of them, just the early Mircos?

I have an April build LE that doesn't have any pooling. It has the black washers installed at factory.

But no washer under the post on upper PF and no pooling there.

Think it's luck of the draw!!!
