Item description

USA machine. Was completely torn down, cleaned, waxed, new rubber, LED’S in GI, and installed the following new parts, flipper plunger link assemblies, drop targets and decals, Cliffy on Alex hole, Alex plastic, chrome lamp reflector covers, several through switches. Has a new Rotten Dog CPU and PPB installed. Bright DMD. Machine plays great with no issues. Playfield very nice, one small spot from Axle hole. The cabinet is very nice over all. Both lower sides of the head have some chips. $5500. Had a couple knibbles on the machine nothing solid so I am now open to local trades preferably other DMD titles. Also found the manual. I also have an NOS snake and complete shooter assembly I may toss in for the right deal. Not selling them separately. Possibly free delievery to Pinfest.

I have never seen a gnr live ..does it compete with other games at this price ..or is it just rare

3000 made. Great game, sound is awesome.

I wouldn't call it a rare game but this one does appear to be nicer than most. Most of them have insert wear especially in the middle to the point you can see rings around all the letters. Looks like the "0" in roses is starting to show some signs of that but still pretty nice PF overall from what I can see. The ramps look to be in good shape as well. Assumption is they are original but OP would have to advise.

Pricing on this game seems to be all over the park so I wont comment on that as I've seen some go for more than I thought while others less than I thought it was worth.

IMHO - GNR is a fun Data East game. The MB is a bit too easy to get to so from a tournament strategy it can be boring but playing it just for fun and going through modes can be fun. The magnets (forget how many it has) really do play some havoc with the ball too. So for a home arcade game I enjoy it. For a potential buyer one thing to look at is the plunger as there were a couple revisions of that ramp and some work better than others.

This game looks to have the final revision of the auto launch and up-kick ramps. The most reliable perhaps but not very pretty. There is something really silky smooth about the original (and first revision) habitrails for this game. It’s not too hard to get them dialed in and reliable. But again this version should have no problem - by this point they completely eliminated the ramp that loops at the back and drops the ball at the rollovers up top and the ramp that dropped the upkick onto the ball launch ramp.

This is a really good price on Data Easts best machine ever in really great shape!

Had a few knibbles on the machine but nothing solid. Now open to other DMD trades and also found the manual and with the right deal I can toss in an NOS snake and rose shooter assembly. Not selling these items separately. If not sold this machine will be at Pinfest.
