Looks like you got grooted if you are expecting to get your money back on mods....

#6 5 years ago

How much if you remove the mods?

#7 5 years ago

No receipts needed, the guys are very trusting around here and no what they cost and what they are worth! GLWS!

#8 5 years ago

He knows what he's got here folks.. no low ballers. Comes with legs.

FWIW, at *best* you can expect to get 50 cents on the dollar for mods, and even less when most of them are purely cosmetic with no functional or protective purpose as yours are.

Here’s my best bet on a fair price for a HUO GOTG Pro:

NIB Stern Pro $5500
10-12% off for being new HUO, but still in production model: ($660)
Fair market for unmodded HUO Stern Pro: $4840
50% cost of mods (being generous here): $500

Fair total: $5340, so roughly $5300

In this case I’d take a $5200 cash on glass offer all day. Put yourself in the buyers shoes: do I want a NIB with warranty or save a couple of hundred, take my chances with warranty, and get a few mods.

Good luck to you with your sale!

Trying to figure out why you would go to that length with time and money to add that many mods.. then sell two months later at a pro-mium.

The code would be my guess.

Good grief people, go easy on him.
He's a newbie!
He probably bought the game, thinking maybe "My dream theme"...that old rookie mistake we've all made...then decided he liked something else.

Mods are worse than car options:
Cool bling, but lose more than half their value upon installation (except color DMD, cliffys).

He may be a great guy, but he'll sour on the pin world fast with quick tear-ups like this.
Too much save it for the veterans.

$5,500. Obviously he expects to get all of his money back on his used pin.

Go easy?? It's Pinside man... We are all hard asses and divas.. wrapped up into one ball of price policing greatness.

What he said. A bit nuts to expect to get all your money back.

#18 5 years ago

I can do $4700 if all mods are removed, $4300 if I need to remove them myself.

I like the riser for your Arcade1up machine!

Second that. While opting to post your Marketplace ad on the forum does open you up to *some* critique (on condition or price), there's no need to all jump on a new member like this. Not exactly welcoming.

I think this post is a good example of a nice way to tell someone you think his price is too high.

Really? I paid 4900 for my new in box.. good luck. It's a hobby not a job so you don't get paid to put on mods on a used game... lmao

Then you got a hell of a deal. That is WELL below the cheapest I've seen for a NIB shipped...

Agreed. $4900 is what I'd expect to pay for this Pro here. People seem to forget mods are worthless in resale in most cases, since they are personal preference.

#26 4 years ago

I just found my receipt the other day.. lol. I had to pay cash and say I live out of state. Lol.

#27 4 years ago

I'll make an offer. I'd trade you my loaded Hobbit LE with Topper, new dragon, and pretty much every mod under the glass for this Guardians... and the Last Action Hero you have listed for trade. If you brought your machines to me, I'd throw in as much play time as you wanted on my Jurassic Park (not for sale).

#28 4 years ago

Can't believe this hasn't sold.

I didn't know that Stern warranties were transferable. Might want to double check that.

#29 4 years ago

I would trade my huo munsters pro for it. Straight up, no cash on my end. And you can take most of the mods off.
