Game - for sale

For sale: Grand Lizard

Added: 2018-11-07 05:37:45 UTC • Ended: November 8th, 2018
Condition: Fully restored (full original status)

Price

$ 2,200 (OBO)

Open for offers

For Sale is my restored Williams Grand Lizard - I have a new machine coming in and I need to make room. This machine is beautiful it has a clear coated playfield, totally restored cabinet, alternate back glass with original back glass included in the sale (all boxed up) all new Pinscore displays (green), new legs, new plastics all around, new Lizard head, rebuilt flippers, new coils, lots of new parts. It could use some tweaking to make it perfect but works 100%.
The MPU is totally rebuilt with no battery NVRAM, new Rottendog power supply, and flipper driver board. This game is better than new...
looking for $2200 or best offer - should be seen to be appreciated

Price reflects some tweaking needed to make it perfect, only selling to make room, not dying to sell it. I think this is a steal for a restored game.

Nice looking machine. Can you expand on the "tweaking"?

#3 5 years ago

Since it has been restored - just switch adjustments - like the ball trough is not catching the ball drain 100% of the time. I have to adjust the switch there so it catches 100%. Also, the ball launch lane the switch is a little too high so the ball does not roll back to the plunger. Nothing major....there may be other little things I have not caught yet.

Just being honest - usually when I restore a game I play through the issues and tweak it so it is dialed in those things usually take time to find. I honestly restored this game and then bought another game and have no room so I have not worked through these little issues but it works 100% just things we all have to do from time to time on a game.

Everything works just have not burned it in to work through the restore. As I am listing it and start showing it I will work those issues and maybe by the time it is sold they will be settled. Maybe I should not have said anything about tweaking but I figured I prefer to be honest. I would hate for someone to come back and say the ball won't register a drain. For me it is obvious - the ball drains - if it does not register I touch the ball and it instantly registers - it means I have to adjust the switch.
