Calm down guys. Pics coming Monday. And they are basically better than new. MANY hours put in. If you want a really nice machine you are going to pay for it. I have never had a bad transaction yet.

And you don't HAVE buy it.

WHEW! I was nervous for a second there.

#8 2 years ago

You can get a steak for anywhere from a couple of bucks to several hundred.

You get what you pay for.

These are the best examples I have seen. If you want a show quality machine, this is it. I have been doing this for many years and have not had a bad sale yet.
If you want a players machine, look elsewhere. You want a beautiful machine that will last a lifetime?

It's pretty ignorant to discuss pricing on something you have not seen or experienced.

They are absolutely gorgeous. You would not be disappointed.

Calm down. You don’t HAVE to read the thread you created.

You don’t want people telling you your asking prices are ridiculous then don’t start a discussion thread.

The comments aren’t meant for you anyway. They are for anyone considering over paying for a Gorgar

Partially just being silly here, but to aim for top dollar, on an evil pin like Gorgar, I believe the angelic-white backbox and powder coating decision was a mis-steak :p.

Though most of your other games seem to be within a fair asking realm, so perhaps there's a reason for the pricing, even if I don't see it.

I suppose I like my pins like I like my steak--rare and bloody...or something like that As for pairing...I don't drink...wine.

"GORGAR HURT"

#12 2 years ago

Uh oh, guy is reporting me for "thumbs abuse" LOL, k... wish I could give a middle finger instead

#13 2 years ago

Cmon Robin.

Fix this crap.

#14 2 years ago

If you list a game and dont want people to comment on it pay the extra 5 dollars and don't allow people to make comments. You can be shocked when you list a gorgar for 5000 over last 5 sales

Can’t wait to see the photos, but not liking the white legs, lockdown etc…Have to stick with original in my mind.

Agree 100%. Gorgar is a classic and great pin, but there is a very small audience for a $7500 Gorgar…the seller just alienated the rest of them with the very poor choice of white powder coating on a “dark” pin like Gorgar. I realize artistic decisions are personal and subjective, but this decision makes zero sense if there was ever a chance this was going to hit the market, especially at this asking price.

There's zero market for a $7500 Gorgar, and a negative number audience for one with that powder coat.

I don't know what a "negative number audience" is yet, but I feel like I'd kick him a shiny nickel for him to undo that powder coat, so something along those lines.

#20 2 years ago

Wow. This is hideous. Not even commenting on the price. Just this super ugly powder coat job.

And the laser cut legs? Why???

#21 2 years ago

You couldn't take the pics first and then post the ad? You're just asking for it.

I'm more worried aboot the sacrificial dungeon it's in...don;t know if you'd make it out of there.
On-brand for Gorgar though so no harm no foul.

Sorry. I am was / am really pressed for time.
I was at work. I also didn't expect the response.

A life event has come up. A good one. Early retirement. And a move to a new country. Ecuador.
That is the reason for selling my collection instead of adding to it. It's 2 bucks a pound to ship. I'm only taking two. Three at the most.....

Because everyone does red. And why not? Why add a LEDs? A topper? Side blades?

And AGAIN,

If you don't like it why waste your time being a dick?
I don't like rap music. I don't play "flame on Johnny" and make negative comments about it.
I just move on. The world has plenty of dick's.
Anyone can be negative.

You don't know me or my story anymore than I pretend to know yours. This was a special machine for me as a kid. I think we all had one. I made this for me. I never planned on selling it.

It is a quality machine with quality parts and workmanship. All receipts and photo documentation.

This used to be a place for fun and learning. Now it reminds me of Racebook.

Sorry for offending the price police.

Eh, I kinda like the powdercoat. I think it works with the white cab. Thumbs up.

#29 2 years ago

paint up a Gorgar with the 'Supreme' colors, then ask a Supreme price.
guess what? It's still a Gorgar, and not worth 5 grand extra for the awesome quality parts and paint.

This IS a place for learning, we are trying to teach others how to not overpay for a game.

You NEVER get what you put into especially if you exceed it’s value. Car guys know this too bad many pinheads don’t.

#32 2 years ago

Personally, I would want any premium priced, top grade item (car, pinball, guitar) to be beautiful, perfect and bone stock. All that personal mod choice lowers the value significantly imo.

Thing looks like an evil deck of cards to me.

Wait, so you dumped thousands to fugly up a Gorgar, but won’t spend a mere $500 more to ship it halfway across the world?

Get it now .... the price reflects the ocean front mansion you can buy in Ecudor for selling a 7500.00 Gorgar !

Props for moving to Ecuador, points off for creating a Girlgar
